Delta Commences 10,000-Metre Drill Program at Eureka and I-Zone, Delta-1, Thunder Bay, Ontario
Delta launches a 10,000-metre drill program at the Eureka and I-Zone targets to test the project's exploration potential.

Delta Resources Limited (DLTA) announced the commencement of a 10,000-metre drill program at its Delta-1 Gold Project in Ontario. The program targets the Eureka Gold Deposit and the I-Zone mineralized trend, with objectives including testing depth, down-plunge potential, and lateral extensions towards the Shabaqua target and along the I-Zone strike.
CEO Ron Kopas emphasized aggressive stepping out to test the interpreted westward plunge of the higher-grade core at depth and exploring westward continuity towards Shabaqua. The first phase at I-Zone aims to establish vertical and strike continuity of recently defined eastward mineralization over 400 metres.
The release references previous significant intercepts, including:
- 5.92 g/t Au over 31 m at Eureka
- 1.79 g/t Au over 128.5 m at Eureka
Additional targets may be defined based on ongoing surface exploration.
The announcement aligns with previous reports regarding the 10,000m drilling program and the company’s focus on the Eureka and I-Zone targets. The update introduces no new financial or operational surprises and is expected to maintain the current exploration trajectory without materially changing the company's valuation or risk profile at this stage.
Delta Resources Limited (DLTA) is a gold exploration company focused on the Delta-1 Gold Project in the Shebandowan Greenstone Belt, approximately 50 km west of Thunder Bay, Ontario. The company’s flagship asset is the Eureka Gold Deposit, which was discovered in 2022 and extends over 2.5 km in strike length, remaining open to depth. The project covers approximately 340 square kilometers and includes multiple prospective targets such as I-Zone, Shabaqua, and Wedge.
The company is currently advancing toward a maiden NI 43-101 resource estimate for the Eureka deposit. Concurrently, environmental baseline studies and metallurgical testing are underway to de-risk future development.
