Errington Metals Expands Depth Potential at the Errington Zone

EM · Price

Errington Metals Corp. has announced initial results from its 2026 Spring exploration program at the Errington Zone, confirming multiple high-grade polymetallic copper-zinc-lead-gold-silver intercepts. The results demonstrate the potential to expand mineralization at depth, with the Errington Zone remaining open for further growth. New drilling supports an evolving geological model suggesting mineralization is faulted and offset down-dip rather than closed off by folding, creating additional exploration opportunities.

Key intercepts from the program include Hole EME-26-086, which returned 6.9m grading 0.99% Cu, 0.12% Zn, 0.07% Pb, 0.33 gpt Au, 22.3 gpt Ag, 1.44% CuEq (From 403.3m to 410.3m) and 11.0m grading 1.75% Cu, 8.63% Zn, 2.05% Pb, 1.66 gpt Au, 104.5 gpt Ag, 6.41% CuEq (From 427.2m to 438.1m). Hole EME-26-089 returned 19.3m grading 0.69% Cu, 3.29% Zn, 1.12% Pb, 0.83 gpt Au, 42.6 gpt Ag, 2.68% CuEq (From 394.0m to 413.3m). Hole EME-26-100 returned 12.3m grading 0.43% Cu, 6.10% Zn, 1.41% Pb, 1.22 gpt Au, 41.7 gpt Ag, 3.49% CuEq (From 443.1m to 455.4m). Hole EME-26-083 returned 8.90m grading 0.69% Cu, 8.78% Zn, 2.57% Pb, 0.91 gpt Au, 86.2 gpt Ag, 4.83% CuEq (From 397.6m to 406.6m).

Additional intercepts reported include: * EME-26-082: 0.5m grading 0.17% Cu, 0.04% Zn, 0.01% Pb, 0.07 gpt Au, 1.8 gpt Ag, 0.24% CuEq (From 399.2m to 399.7m) * EME-26-075: 6.0m grading 0.10% Cu, 3.40% Zn, 1.28% Pb, 0.61 gpt Au, 42.2 gpt Ag, 2.00% CuEq (From 339.2m to 345.2m) * EME-26-076A: 5.3m grading 0.70% Cu, 0.02% Zn, 0.33% Pb, 0.04 gpt Au, 27.1 gpt Ag, 1.01% CuEq (From 395.9m to 401.2m) * EME-26-081: 2.3m grading 0.10% Cu, 0.34% Zn, 0.63% Pb, 0.15 gpt Au, 12.5 gpt Ag, 0.50% CuEq (From 371.0m to 373.2m) * EME-26-081: 2.5m grading 0.02% Cu, 2.23% Zn, 0.19% Pb, 0.11 gpt Au, 4.6 gpt Ag, 0.77% CuEq (From 383.5m to 386.0m) * EME-26-085: 2.5m grading 0.31% Cu, 2.22% Zn, 0.88% Pb, 0.34 gpt Au, 26.8 gpt Ag, 1.52% CuEq (From 381.5m to 384.0m) * EME-26-087A: 3.9m grading 0.08% Cu, 0.12% Zn, 0.27% Pb, 0.06 gpt Au, 7.9 gpt Ag, 0.27% CuEq (From 421.2m to 425.1m)

True widths are expected to be 70% to 100% of the reported drilling widths. Copper Equivalent was calculated using the formula: Cu Eq = Cu (%) + Zn (%) x 0.273 + Pb (%) x 0.167 + Ag (gpt) x 0.0081 + Au (gpt) x 0.6752. Metal prices used for the calculation were Copper $4.5/lb, Zinc $1.3/lb, Lead $0.90/lb, Gold $2500/oz, and Silver $30/oz. Recoveries assumed were Copper 90%, Zinc 85%, Lead 75%, Gold 75%, and Silver 75%.

Samples were submitted to Activation Laboratories Ltd. (Actlabs). They were crushed, pulverized, and digested using a four-acid solution, then analyzed via ICP-MS and ICP-AES. Gold was independently analyzed using 30g fire assay. Quality assurance and quality control were verified via Certified Reference Material standards, blanks, and field duplicates.

Geological context from the drilling suggests massive sulphide mineralization persists at depth. Elevated gold and silver values in the eastern part of the zone highlight potential for precious metals to enhance value. Borehole electromagnetic surveys are underway to identify conductive sulphide targets.

"These initial results from the 2026 drill program are an exciting step forward for Errington. We continue to intersect strong polymetallic mineralization at depth, including meaningful precious metals values that can enhance the overall value of this opportunity. Just as important, the drilling is improving our understanding of the structures that control mineralization and is opening up new areas to follow the system down-dip. The Errington Zone remains open, and these results give us a clear path to target additional growth as we advance the next phase of drilling," said Matthew Gollat, President and CEO.
