Graphano Energy Receives Exploration Permits for Black Jack Graphite Discovery and Provides Corporate Update
Graphano secures permits for the Black Jack project, though the company faces ongoing cash burn and potential dilution risks.

Graphano Energy Ltd. (GEL) has received two exploration permits, ATI-862 and ATI-863, from Québec’s MRNF for its Black Jack graphite discovery. ATI-862 authorizes mechanical stripping on 1.1 hectares from Sept 15, 2026 to Oct 31, 2027, while ATI-863 permits diamond drilling on 2.15 hectares from Oct 15, 2026 to Nov 30, 2027. These permits enable the next phase of exploration, which includes stripping, detailed geological mapping, and systematic channel sampling to evaluate the 100m x 15m exposed graphite horizon. The company plans to mobilize its field crew in mid-September 2026.
In other developments, Graphano Energy provided an update on its binding MOU with 3D Genesis Technologies regarding APIC metal additive manufacturing technology. The transaction remains under review by the TSX Venture Exchange, with definitive agreements currently being negotiated.
Previous grab samples at Black Jack returned 12.0% to 26.5% Cg (average 19.8% Cg). Samples are selective and not necessarily representative of average zone grade.
Graphano Energy Ltd. (GEL) has received exploration permits, a routine follow-up to the June 2026 Black Jack discovery and subsequent grab sample results. This development confirms regulatory progress but does not alter the fundamental risk profile or valuation of the company.
Additionally, Graphano Energy provided an update on the 3D Genesis memorandum of understanding. The transaction remains in the definitive agreement negotiation phase, subject to TSX-V acceptance, and involves an early-stage, unproven metal additive manufacturing technology. The update provides no immediate financial or operational catalyst.
It aligns with management's stated exploration roadmap and does not introduce new upside beyond what was already priced in or expected.
Graphano Energy Ltd. (GEL) is a pre-revenue graphite exploration company focused on properties in Québec, Canada. Its flagship assets include the Lac Aux Bouleaux (LAB) and Standard projects, which hold a NI 43-101 mineral resource of 3.22 million tonnes at 7.0% graphitic carbon.
The Black Pearl project features a 6.5-kilometer conductive trend with five priority targets, supported by recent drilling and airborne geophysics. The newly discovered Black Jack property sits approximately 1 km northwest of Black Pearl, with high-grade surface exposures.
The company is pursuing a vertical integration strategy by partnering with Northern Graphite for processing infrastructure and exploring advanced manufacturing applications through the 3D Genesis APIC technology.
