Graphano Energy Mobilizes Field Crew to Commence Exploration Program at Black Jack Graphite Discovery
Graphano advances Black Jack exploration as permits clear and field crews mobilize for stripping and sampling.

Graphano Energy Ltd. (GEL) has mobilized a field crew led by St Pierre Exploration to commence active exploration at its Black Jack graphite discovery in Quebec. This initiative follows the receipt of exploration permits ATI-862 and ATI-863 on August 31, 2026, which authorized mechanical stripping and diamond drilling.
The current program focuses on mechanical stripping, geological mapping, and systematic channel sampling. Ground geophysics will also be conducted to prepare the sector for future diamond drilling. Assay results from the channel sampling are pending and will be released once all data is received and reviewed.
Graphano Energy Ltd. (GEL) has initiated mobilization, a routine operational follow-up to its August 31 permit announcement. This move confirms management is executing on its exploration plan, though it provides no new technical or financial data. Consequently, the news does not materially alter the company's valuation or near-term outlook.
Execution risk remains high as stripping and channel sampling are preliminary steps; definitive grade continuity and scale require assay results and drilling. Additionally, the parallel 3D Genesis MOU remains under TSX Venture Exchange review, adding a layer of corporate uncertainty that is not addressed in this release.
Graphano Energy Ltd. (GEL) is a pre-revenue graphite exploration company focused on properties in Quebec, Canada. Its flagship assets include the Black Pearl and Black Jack discoveries, as well as the Lac Aux Bouleaux (LAB) and Standard projects. LAB and Standard hold a NI 43-101 Mineral Resource estimate of 3.22 million tonnes at 7.0% graphitic carbon.
Black Pearl features a 6.5-kilometre conductive trend with drill intercepts up to 11.33% Cg over 8.61 metres. Black Jack is a new discovery located approximately 1 km northwest of Black Pearl, with initial grab samples returning 12.0% to 26.5% Cg. The company has a strategic collaboration with Northern Graphite to leverage adjacent processing infrastructure at the Lac-des-Iles facility.
