Bronco Resources Reports 55.0 G/T Gold At Kodiak Zone Extension With Several High-Grade Gold Samples Across Broader Target Area
Bronco expands the Kodiak Zone target with high-grade rock sampling ahead of its scheduled Q4 drill program.

Bronco Resources Corp. (BRON) has announced significant high-grade gold and silver results from its 2026 rock sampling program at the Placer Mountain Gold Project in British Columbia. The most notable intercept came from the Kodiak Zone Extension, located 65 meters north of previously sampled outcrop, which returned 55.0 g/t Au and 149.0 g/t Ag.
Additional high-grade samples were identified 231 meters south of the Kodiak Zone, yielding 6.43 g/t Au, as well as at the Northstar Target, where assays reached up to 4.74 g/t Au. Systematic soil sampling covered 1,011 samples across the Eastern Palace and Grizzle target areas, with 234 returning ≥ 5 ppb Au.
Quality assurance and quality control protocols were maintained at MSA Labs, utilizing CPA-Au1 Photon Assay and fire assay methods. Management plans to integrate geochemical, geophysical (ground magnetics, LiDAR), and drill core data to prioritize targets for an aggressive fall drilling program in Q4 2026.
Bronco Resources Corp. (BRON) released rock sampling results on August 26, serving as a direct follow-up to its August 13 operations update, which had noted that such analyses were pending. The results align with previous expectations and validate the company's targeting strategy across the broader quartz corridor.
The discovery of high-grade float and outcrop samples outside the known Kodiak Zone supports the planned Q4 2026 drilling program, though these findings do not constitute a drill result or resource update. This news is considered incremental and expected, providing confidence for upcoming fieldwork rather than introducing fundamentally new valuation drivers.
Bronco Resources Corp. (BRON) is a pre-revenue junior explorer focused on the Placer Mountain Gold Project in the Similkameen Mining District of British Columbia. The project hosts a newly discovered high-grade mesothermal gold system, with historical discoveries including the Main Zone in 2019 and the Kodiak Zone in 2021.
The company’s 17,036-hectare land package benefits from year-round access via active logging roads and proximity to Hudbay Minerals’ Copper Mountain Mine. The geological setting features prospective Nicola Group rocks and dioritic intrusions, with mineralization hosted in quartz-sulfide vein systems. Bronco Resources currently holds an 87% interest and aims to achieve 100% ownership by the end of the 2025 exploration program.
