Bronco Resources Samples 51.6 g/t Gold and 228 g/t Silver in Blue Quartz 280 Meters East of Kodiak Zone
Bronco discovered a new high-grade blue quartz vein east of the Kodiak Zone at its Placer Mountain project.

Bronco Resources Corp. (BRON) reported high-grade rock sampling results from its Placer Mountain Gold Project in British Columbia. The most significant sample returned 51.6 g/t gold and 228 g/t silver from angular blue quartz float, located 280 meters east of the Kodiak Zone discovery outcrop. A secondary sample returned 2.9 g/t Au and 15.7 g/t Ag, while a third outcrop grab returned 55.0 g/t Au and 149 g/t Ag in the Kodiak Extension North zone.
The blue quartz represents a newly recognized mineralization style distinct from previous high-grade samples, characterized by very low iron and a lack of visible sulfide mineralization. The target is identified as high-priority for future drilling, coincident with an eastward projection of the Kodiak system and a deep magnetic low. The release also notes the resignation of director Ron Parratt, effective October 12, 2026.
Bronco Resources Corp. (BRON) has identified a new, high-grade blue quartz vein style, a discovery that is geologically significant and expands the conceptual model for the Kodiak Zone. These results are derived from rock sampling, including float and outcrop grabs, rather than drill core, meaning they confirm surface expression rather than defining a subsurface resource.
The news aligns with the company's stated exploration plan to integrate geochemical and geophysical data ahead of a fall drilling program. However, given the company's micro-cap status and the incremental nature of surface sampling, the market impact is expected to be limited. Additionally, a director resignation was announced as an administrative update with no direct financial or operational impact.
Bronco Resources Corp. (BRON) is a pre-revenue junior exploration company focused on the Placer Mountain Gold Project in the Similkameen Mining District of British Columbia. The flagship project hosts a newly discovered high-grade mesothermal gold system, with historical trenching and drilling identifying the Main Zone and Kodiak Zone.
The company holds an 87% interest in the property, with plans to acquire 100% upon completion of the 2025 exploration program. The project benefits from year-round access via logging roads and proximity to major mining infrastructure, including Hudbay Minerals' Copper Mountain Mine. No mineral resources or reserves have been defined to date.
