Bronco Resources Provides Major Operations Update - Placer Mountain Gold Project
Bronco’s Placer Mountain project confirms high-grade gold potential using LiDAR and Photon Assay technologies.

Bronco Resources Corp. (BRON) issued an operations update regarding its Placer Mountain Gold Project in British Columbia, highlighting several completed and upcoming exploration activities. The company finished a high-resolution airborne LiDAR survey covering approximately 2,500 hectares, which identified topographic lineations that coincide with known gold mineralization and soil anomalism. Additionally, Bronco Resources completed a systematic soil geochemical survey comprising 1,012 samples across the Eastern Palace and Grizzle targets, with laboratory analyses currently pending.
The company also evaluated the Chrysos Photon Assay™ against conventional fire assay using drill core from the Kodiak Zone. The evaluation showed that Photon Assay yielded significantly higher gold grades due to improved recovery of coarse and nuggety gold. For example, a sample that returned 1.8 g/t via fire assay returned 17.6 g/t via Photon Assay.
In other field activities, Bronco Resources commenced a Phase 2 ground magnetic survey covering 450 line-kilometers to integrate with existing data and enhance structural targeting. The company was also officially granted the Young Willis mineral claim, adding 1,856 hectares to its land position northeast of the Kodiak Zone. Additional drilling is expected in the fourth quarter of 2026 following the integration of LiDAR, geochemistry, and magnetics data.
Bronco Resources Corp. (BRON) released information aligning with its May 28, 2026 announcement, which outlined the 2026 exploration season, pre-drilling activities, and anticipated mid-August results. The company completed LiDAR and geochemical surveys and adopted Photon Assay, steps that validate its targeting methodology for coarse gold. No new drill results, resource estimates, or major discoveries were announced. The news follows the planned exploration timeline, with material impact limited to operational progress and methodological validation rather than immediate financial or valuation inflection.
Bronco Resources Corp. (BRON) is a pre-revenue junior exploration company focused on the Placer Mountain Gold Project in the Similkameen Mining District, BC. The project hosts a newly discovered high-grade mesothermal gold system with no reported resources or reserves. Historical drilling consisting of 37 holes totaling 3,664 meters has identified the Main Vein and Kodiak Zone, with high-grade intercepts including 39.20 g/t Au over 3.00m. The company holds an 88%/12% joint venture with Universal Copper Ltd. and aims to consolidate to 100% ownership. The land package spans 17,036 hectares, with improved access via logging roads and fire-cleared terrain.
