Oreterra Reports Bornite, Chalcopyrite and Magnetite Mineralization with Strong Porphyry Style Alteration in Trek South Drill Hole TS26-06; Drilling Continuing

Visual bornite and chalcopyrite in TS26-06 provide a vectoring clue for Oreterra rather than representing a drill intercept.

Executive Summary

Oreterra Metals Corp. (OTMC) has reported progress at its Trek South project, with drill hole TS26-06 currently reaching 297 metres and targeting a total depth of 600 metres. Visual mineralogy in TS26-06 includes bornite, chalcopyrite, and magnetite at 117 metres downhole, along with strong epidote-garnet ± magnetite alteration from 182 to 195 metres. No assays, grades, intervals, or true widths are reported, as assays remain pending.

Five holes are complete: TS26-01, TS26-02, TS26-03, TS26-04, and TS26-05. TS26-06 is underway, while TS26-07 is about to commence from a pad east of hole 6. TS26-08 will target the most intense magnetic anomaly from a pad 200 metres south of hole 6. To date, 2,020 metres of the Phase 1 target of 5,000 metres have been drilled, representing approximately 40.4% of the program.

Early holes at the west and east ends of Drill Fence A-A' encountered propylitic alteration with sulphides that diminished downhole. TS26-04 cut a small Eocene granodiorite interpreted as unrelated. The release states that the Tahltan Nation and BC regulators approved leaving all eight drill pads in place over winter, versus the three previously specified.

Material Impact

Oreterra Metals Corp. (OTMC) provided a visual-only update on its Trek South project, with no new resource, reserve, grade, tonnage, or economic inputs included, as no assays were provided. At this stage, the market is pricing exploration optionality: the stock rebounded from C$0.35 on August 4 to C$0.45 by August 24 before this release.

There is no prior embedded anchor intercept from TS26-01 through TS26-05; earlier drilling was described only in general terms. With cash of C$9.05 million as of March 31, 2026 and a market capitalization near C$24 million, the company already carries meaningful exploration optionality.
