Talisker Announces First Direct Shipment of Ore to Taiwan

Talisker’s first Taiwan direct shipping ore sailing confirms the ramp-up, a development already telegraphed by previous operational updates.

Executive Summary

Talisker Resources Ltd. (TSK) has loaded and departed its first direct shipping ore vessel from the Bralorne Gold Project to Taiwan. The shipment consists of 10,944 wet metric tonnes at a weighted average grade of 8.71 g/t gold, representing approximately 3,065 contained ounces of gold before moisture, recovery, payable-metal, and treatment adjustments. The vessel is expected to arrive in Taiwan around September 15, 2026.

The company’s release discloses no realized price, payable ounces, treatment charges, net proceeds, or margin assumptions for this direct shipping ore cargo. Preparation for a second shipment is underway, with Lillooet stockpiles totaling 7,106 wet metric tonnes. These stockpiles include 1,146 wet metric tonnes at 10.77 g/t gold and 5,960 wet metric tonnes pending assays. Final assays for the pending 5,960 wet metric tonnes are expected next week, with the next marine shipment anticipated to depart in late October or early November 2026.

The release reiterates the company’s caution that Talisker has no defined mineral reserves and has not based its production decision on a feasibility study.

Material Impact

Talisker Resources Ltd. (TSK) provided an operational confirmation regarding its first Taiwan direct shipping ore (DSO) shipment, which the company’s Management’s Discussion and Analysis had already indicated departed in early August 2026. The stock had already moved from approximately C$1.05–1.11 in mid-to-late July to C$1.63–1.65 by August 20–21, a gain of roughly 47–55%, suggesting much of the operational milestone was priced in before this release.

The new incremental details include the exact tonnage, grade, and second-shipment stockpile status. No financial impact is quantified, and there is no ramp-up guidance raise, cost update, or reserve change attached.
