DLP Resources Files NI 43-101 Technical Report for the Aurora PEA
DLP advances its $2.7 billion NPV Aurora project to the next development phase following the filing of the Preliminary Economic Assessment technical report.

DLP Resources Inc. has filed an independent National Instrument 43-101 Technical Report for its 100%-owned Aurora copper-molybdenum-silver project in Peru. The filing formalizes the Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) initially announced on September 1, 2026.
The PEA outlines a 17.5-year mine life with an after-tax NPV8% of US$2,703 million and an IRR of 18.5%. The report covers a combined open pit and underground indicated resource of 614.84 million tonnes and an inferred resource of 1,118.80 million tonnes. The filing is a standard regulatory step following the initial PEA release, confirming the technical data is now available on SEDAR+.
DLP Resources Inc. (DLP) filed a routine administrative document to fulfill its stated timeline of completing the NI 43-101 report within 45 days of the September 1 Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) announcement. The filing does not introduce new economic data, updated resource estimates, or changes to the project's development timeline.
The market had already priced in the PEA metrics, which included a net present value (NPV) of $2.7 billion and an internal rate of return (IRR) of 18.5%, when they were released in early September. The positive nature of the Aurora filing is slightly offset by the simultaneous operational pause at the Esperanza project, announced on September 25, due to authorization matters, though management maintains confidence in the resolution. The news confirms the project's progression from study to permitting and pre-feasibility stages.
DLP Resources Inc. (DLP) operates a dual-asset copper platform in Peru, holding 100% ownership of the Aurora and Esperanza projects. Aurora is a large-scale porphyry copper-molybdenum-silver deposit located in Parobamba, Peru, featuring a combined open pit and underground mining plan with strong infrastructure access via road and rail.
Esperanza is an emerging district-scale copper-gold-molybdenum discovery located 35 km from Freeport-McMoRan's Cerro Verde mine. The project features high-grade surface geochemistry and a large magnetic anomaly targeting a concealed porphyry system. The company has secured 100% ownership of Aurora and a six-year land use extension with the Parobamba community, securing long-term social license.
