Goldconda Gold Releases Q3 2026 Production Update at Galaxy
Golconda’s record Galaxy quarter aligns with its ramp-up script, while silence surrounding the Summit restart signals potential operational challenges.

Golconda Gold Ltd. (GG) reported record quarterly gold production of 4,301 oz for the third quarter of 2026 at its Galaxy Gold Mine. This output represents an 18% increase from the 3,648 oz produced in the second quarter of 2026 and a 20% rise compared to the 3,588 oz produced in the same period last year.
During the quarter, the company mined 48,833 tonnes of ore grading 3.36 g/t. This compares to 40,159 tonnes at 2.98 g/t in Q2 2026 and 40,503 tonnes at 3.31 g/t in Q3 2025. The ore was sourced from two distinct orebodies: Princeton, which contributed 19,178 tonnes at 3.81 g/t, and Galaxy, which provided 29,655 tonnes at 3.08 g/t.
Development activity also reached new highs, with 564 metres of development completed in Q3 2026. This marks a significant increase from the 387 metres recorded in Q2 2026 and the 354 metres completed in Q3 2025.
Processing operations handled 49,166 tonnes of ore, resulting in the production of 3,898 tonnes of concentrate grading 34.3 g/t. The final gold production from this processing volume was 4,301 oz.
For the year-to-date period ending in Q3 2026, Golconda Gold has mined 133,034 tonnes of ore grading 3.14 g/t and completed 1,352 metres of development. Total gold production for the period stands at 11,586 oz.
CEO Ravi Sood attributed the operational results to investments in underground equipment and surface infrastructure, noting that further improvements are expected in the final quarter of 2026.
The release focuses exclusively on the Galaxy and Princeton operations. It contains no mention of the Summit Mine in New Mexico, which had previously been guided to resume mining in Q2 2026 and processing in the second half of 2026. The announcement also does not include revenue, cost, AISC, margin, or cash-flow figures.
Golconda Gold Ltd. (GG) issued an operational update providing production volumes and grades, but did not include revenue, cost, margin, or cash flow data. The company reported a record quarterly production of 4,301 oz, representing an 18% quarter-over-quarter increase and a 20% year-over-year rise. The Galaxy ramp remains on track toward its 25,000 oz medium-term target. However, the release did not address the scheduled restart of Summit mining in Q2 2026. Market reaction was muted, with the share price moving from $2.85 on Oct 14 to $2.89 on Oct 15. The update did not alter the company’s leverage, capital structure, or net asset value, nor was there any change to guidance disclosed.
