Solstice Gold Consolidating 57 km Superscript 2 Strathy Gold Project through Agreement to Acquire Leckie Gold Zone and 43 New Claims; $650,000 Private Placement Fully Subscribed
Solstice expands its Strathy footprint through the Leckie acquisition and a $650,000 capital placement.

Solstice Gold Corp. announced a definitive agreement to acquire the Leckie Gold Zone (LGZ) and 47 adjacent unpatented claims, expanding its Strathy Gold Project to approximately 57 km². The transaction includes patented claims hosting the LGZ, which feature a 160m-deep shaft, underground development on five levels, and over 23,000m of historical drilling. The acquisition adds significant historical high-grade gold intercepts greater than 3.0 g/t Au and IP anomalies to the company's portfolio.
Royalties are attached to the transaction, including a 1% NSR on Youngs claims and an existing 1% NSR on Leckie Patents held by Stroud Resources. Closing is anticipated for September 14, 2026, subject to TSXV approval and other conditions.
Concurrently, a non-brokered private placement raised $650,000 in gross proceeds at $0.06 per share, issuing 10,833,333 common shares.
Solstice Gold Corp. (SGC) has acquired a historically drilled zone featuring a shaft and high-grade intercepts, a move that consolidates its Strathy project. This transaction aligns with the company’s ongoing land acquisition strategy initiated in late 2025 and early 2026.
While the addition of the LGZ is geologically significant, it remains an exploration-stage asset with unverified historical data. The market has already priced in incremental land acquisitions, as evidenced by the stock’s decline from $0.14 in January to $0.06 in August.
The company secured $650,000 in financing, which was fully subscribed, indicating baseline shareholder support. However, this capital does not materially alter the company's capital position or de-risk the project. The news is expected and incremental to the company's stated exploration roadmap, constituting neither a game-changing event nor a shift in project economics.
Solstice Gold Corp. is a Canadian exploration company focused on gold and polymetallic projects in Ontario and Nunavut. Its flagship asset is the Strathy Gold Project, located in the Temagami Greenstone Belt within the Abitibi Subprovince of Ontario. The project features the Red Cedar Discovery, which returned 8.52 g/t Au over 3.5m, including 28.7 g/t Au over 1.0m.
The company has also acquired the Leckie Gold Zone, which adds historical drilling and a shaft, expanding the project area to 57 km². Other assets include the Qaiqtuq project in Nunavut, the Atikokan project, and the Red Lake Extension (RLX) project. The company is in the grassroots exploration stage with no revenue or production.
