Awale Defines New 4-Kilometre Gold Target at 100%-Owned Seydou Permit; Drilling Underway at the Fremen Discovery

Awale defines a new 4km gold target on its 100%-owned Seydou permit as Fremen drilling advances.

Executive Summary

Awalé Resources has identified a new 4-kilometre gold anomaly, designated Anomaly 1, on its 100%-owned Seydou permit in the Odienné district. The target was defined via termitaria and soil geochemistry, with peak values of 514 ppb Au in termitaria and 214 ppb Au in soil. A 24-hole aircore drilling program, comprising approximately 1,500 metres, is currently underway to test roughly 2 kilometres of the trend before the onset of the wet season.

Diamond drilling continues at the Fremen discovery to establish strike and down-dip continuity, following prior intercepts of 1.9 g/t Au over 17m and 1.1 g/t Au over 17m. The geological setting at Seydou mirrors known discoveries such as BBM, Charger, and Fremen, sitting along a regional-scale structure at the margin of a granitoid intrusive body.

The company maintains a $36.5 million treasury and will announce an updated, accelerated exploration plan for its 100%-owned properties in mid-September.

Material Impact

Awalé Resources Limited (ARIC) announced a discovery of a 4km gold anomaly, a development that aligns with management’s strategy of building a district-scale pipeline on its wholly-owned permits. This finding validates the regional geological model but carries no immediate financial or valuation impact. The announcement represents an incremental step in the company’s systematic exploration model across its 100%-owned ground, reinforcing the exploration thesis without altering the joint venture resource, financing structure, or near-term PEA timeline.

The news is expected by the market as part of the ongoing 100,000-metre campaign. With a $36.5 million cash position, the company comfortably funds the announced $8 million exploration budget and ongoing joint venture drilling, eliminating near-term dilution risk. The update lacks the surprise or scale required to move the stock materially.

Company Overview

Awalé Resources Limited (ARIC) is an exploration-stage company focused on the Odienné Project in Côte d'Ivoire, a premier West African gold jurisdiction. The project spans 2,346 km² across seven permits, including a 797 km² joint venture with Newmont Corporation and approximately 1,542 km² of 100%-owned ground covering the Sienso, Sama, and Seydou areas. Flagship deposits include BBM, described as a cornerstone gold-copper asset; Charger, a high-grade underground operation; and Empire, a near-surface open-pit site. In May 2026, the company announced an initial Inferred Mineral Resource of 1.71 million ounces AuEq, comprising 32.4 million tonnes at 1.64 g/t AuEq. Management is targeting a Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) in Q3 2026 and a Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS) in 2027.
