Global Energy Metals Highlights Advancement of Terra Balcanica's Athabasca Basin Uranium Portfolio
Global advances its Athabasca uranium royalty with airborne surveys while maintaining critically low cash reserves.

Global Energy Metals Corporation (GEMC) has announced the start of a high-resolution airborne geophysical survey at its Charlot-Neely Lake uranium project in Saskatchewan’s Athabasca Basin. The survey, carried out by Terra North Resources Corp., a subsidiary of Terra Balcanica Resources Corp., covers an area of 163.7 km². It comprises 2,441 line-kilometres flown at 75-metre spacing. The objective of the survey is to refine uranium-related anomalies and prioritize targets for ground truthing and drilling in early 2027.
GEMC holds a 0.5% Net Smelter Return (NSR) royalty on Terra North's Saskatchewan uranium portfolio, providing passive exposure without direct funding obligations. Meanwhile, Terra North is advancing preparations for a reverse-takeover and listing on a Canadian stock exchange in Q4 2026.
The announcement does not introduce new financial commitments, revenue streams, or changes to GEMC's capital structure.
The company agreed to a 0.5% NSR royalty, which provides upside potential but carries no immediate cash flow or dilution risk. The release is considered incremental and expected given the historical exploration context and Terra North's stated Q4 2026 listing timeline. No material positive or negative impact on the stock price is anticipated from this release alone.
Global Energy Metals Corporation (GEMC) operates as a pre-revenue project generator and royalty platform focused on critical minerals across North America and Australia. Its flagship asset is the Millennium Copper-Cobalt-Gold-Graphite project in Queensland, Australia, where GEMC holds a 49% interest. This stake is fully carried on exploration by partner Metal Bank Ltd. under an earn-in arrangement targeting 80% ownership.
The company’s additional portfolio includes the Råna Nickel Project in Norway, which comprises a 10% equity stake and a 1% net smelter return (NSR); Monument Peak in Idaho, featuring a 50% equity stake and a 1% NSR, which has been optioned to Grounded People Apparel; Peace River Lithium in Canada, held via equity and royalty through NeoLithica; and Athabasca Uranium in Canada, which carries a 0.5% NSR via Terra North. GEMC relies on partner-funded exploration, royalty monetization, and strategic partnerships to advance these assets without direct capital outlay.
