Stakeholder Delivers Standout Assays from Hole BA2601 at the Loki Target: Highly Anomalous Cu-Ni-Co and Separate PGE Mineralization Confirm a Fertile Magmatic Sulphide System

SRC · Price

Stakeholder Gold Corp. (SRC) has announced initial drill assay results from hole BA2601 at the Loki Target on its Ballarat Gold-Copper Project in the Yukon Territory. The results identified a significant copper-nickel-cobalt sulphide zone and separate platinum-group element (PGE) mineralization.

Hole BA2601 was collared at the Loki Target with a total depth of 498 meters (azimuth 230°, dip -45°). This release covers only the 226 to 451-meter interval; assays for the 0-226m and 451-498m intervals are pending.

The hole intersected a 6-meter interval grading 1,190 ppm Cu, 159 ppm Ni, and 123 ppm Co (at a 500 ppm Cu cut-off). This includes a high-grade 1-meter sub-interval of 3,730 ppm Cu, 641 ppm Ni, and 514 ppm Co coincident with a net-textured to massive sulphide lens.

The specific intercepts are detailed below:

Cu-Ni-Co Sulphide Zone * Interval: 254 to 260 meters (6 meters). * Grades: 1,190 ppm Cu, 159 ppm Ni, 123 ppm Co. * Cut-off: 500 ppm Cu. * High-Grade Sub-interval: 258 to 259 meters (1 meter) grading 3,730 ppm Cu, 641 ppm Ni, 514 ppm Co, and 5.02% Sulphur. * Geology: Coincident with a logged net-textured to massive sulphide lens at 258.6-261 meters.

PGE Mineralization * Zone 1: 323 to 326 meters (3 meters) grading 90 ppb Pt+Pd. * Sub-interval: 324 to 325 meters (1 meter) grading 120 ppb Pt+Pd (62 ppb Pt, 58 ppb Pd). * Zone 2: 380 to 385 meters (5 meters) grading ~100 ppb Pt+Pd. * Sub-interval: 380 to 381 meters (1 meter) grading 183 ppb Pt+Pd (118 ppb Pt, 65 ppb Pd). * Geology: Hosted in weakly sulphidic rock, indicating decoupling from base-metal sulphides.

Assays were prepared at Bureau Veritas (BV) in Whitehorse and analyzed in Vancouver. The PGE and gold methodology utilized a 30-gram fire assay with ICP-ES finish (BV method FA350), while base metals were analyzed using a 1:1:1 aqua-regia digestion with ICP-ES/MS finish (BV method AQ201). Certified reference materials, blanks, and duplicates were inserted into the sample stream for quality assurance and control.

"We see a suite of critical minerals including copper with nickel and cobalt association and separately platinum and palladium mineralization within the Loki ultra mafic intrusive structure. The structure itself is extensive from west to east across more than 30 km through the southern section of the Ballarat project area," stated Christopher Berlet, CEO and Director of Stakeholder Gold Corp.

Adam Fage, M.Sc., P.Geo., added, "Assays from BA2601 confirm a fertile magmatic sulphide system: the intrusion has concentrated copper, nickel and cobalt into discrete sulphide zones while segregating platinum and palladium into separate, sulphide-poor horizons. This clear decoupling of base metals from platinum-group elements is the hallmark of a well-differentiated intrusion, and it gives us defined geochemical vectors to follow toward higher-tenor mineralization."

The Ballarat Project is located in the White Gold District, adjacent to Talamore Mining’s Coffee Gold Project. The Northern Access Route (NAR) is under construction through the center of the Ballarat property, providing 20 km of new mine-grade road infrastructure.

The technical information in this press release was reviewed and approved by Adam Fage, M.Sc., P.Geo., an independent geological consultant and Qualified Person.
