Hannan Expands Mineralized Breccia Footprint at Previsto to 305 metres
Hannan’s Previsto breccia width doubles to 305m as DIA submission targets maiden drilling for 2027.

Hannan Metals Ltd. (HAN) announced a significant expansion of the high-grade gold and silver mineralized breccia footprint at its 100% owned Previsto prospect in Peru, increasing the known width from 185 metres to 305 metres. The company achieved a 100% hit rate across 323 channel samples collected over two consecutive campaigns, with peak grades of 2.6 g/t Au and 37.2 g/t Ag.
The Environmental Impact Statement (DIA) for the Amanecer project was submitted on July 14, 2026, with final regulatory approvals anticipated in Q1 2027. This submission paves the way for the first-ever drilling program at Previsto, consisting of 18 drill platforms and 7,650 metres of diamond drilling. Peru's new Supreme Decree No. 014-2026-EM expands the DIA threshold to 60 drilling platforms for Category I streamlined pathways, a change expected to expedite the Previsto permitting process.
Hannan Metals Ltd. (HAN) released an incremental exploration update on July 22, 2026, following its July 14, 2026 DIA submission and June 3, 2026 channel sampling results. The announcement confirmed a 100% hit rate across 323 samples and an expansion of the breccia width to 305 metres, de-risking the geological model and confirming a large, coherent alkalic porphyry-epithermal system.
The news validates management's exploration thesis and supports the upcoming maiden drilling program, aligning with the company's stated timeline for advancing Previsto toward drilling in 2027.
Hannan Metals Ltd. (TSXV: HAN) is a pre-revenue junior explorer focused on discovering large-scale gold and copper deposits. Its flagship project is Previsto, also known as the Valiente project, located in central-eastern Peru. The site is classified as an alkalic porphyry-epithermal district, a deposit class associated with world-class systems such as Cripple Creek in Colorado and Porgera in Papua New Guinea. The project features roscoelite-cemented hydrothermal breccias, fluorite cement, massive adularia alteration, and pseudoleucite-bearing syenite porphyries.
In addition to its Peruvian assets, the company recently acquired option rights to three high-grade gold projects in Sweden's Skellefteå district: Stavatrask, Skellefteå North, and Adelfors. These assets are designed to complement the work in Peru with minimal upfront cash cost.
