Hannan Extends Previsto Gold Breccia to 410 Metres, Open in All Directions
Hannan’s Previsto breccia extends to 410m with a 100% hit rate, while maiden drilling is delayed to Q1 2027.

Hannan Metals Ltd. (HAN) has reported channel and rock chip sampling results from the Previsto Central gold zone in Peru. The company collected 325 new channel samples over 580.5 meters, bringing the total number of samples to 648. The company achieved a 100% hit rate across all samples, with every sample returning gold, silver, or copper mineralization above background levels.
The mapped mineralized breccia strike length was extended by 105 meters to a total of 410 meters. A high-grade panel sample returned 32.8 g/t Au and 130 g/t Ag.
On July 14, 2026, the company submitted its Environmental Impact Statement (DIA) for 18 drill platforms and 7,650 meters of drilling. Final regulatory approvals from DGAAM, ANA, and SERFOR are anticipated in Q1 2027. This submission follows the publication of Supreme Decree No. 014-2026-EM by Peru in July 2026, which expanded DIA thresholds to 60 drilling platforms and established strict permitting timelines.
The company reported a 100% hit rate and an extension of the breccia to 410 meters, findings that confirm the existing geological model without introducing new catalysts or altering capital requirements.
The market was already aware of the permitting status and the expected maiden drilling timeline. This news is incremental and expected, serving to de-risk the project ahead of the 2027 drill program rather than accelerating it. No material change to the company's financial position or strategic roadmap is indicated.
