Drill Results

West Point Gold Drills 9.1m of 8.37 g/t Au within 82.4m of 1.61 g/t Au from Surface at the Tyro Main Zone

None

Executive Summary

On October 28, 2025, West Point Gold announced additional drill results from its 10,000-metre drill program at its flagship Gold Chain Project in Arizona. The highlight was from hole GC25-70 at the Tyro Main Zone, which intersected a broad zone of mineralization from surface, returning 82.4 metres of 1.61 g/t gold. This intercept included a higher-grade core of 9.1 metres grading 8.37 g/t gold.

These results are from the initial phase of the program, which has completed 1,177 metres across 15 holes. Assay results for nine additional holes are still pending. CEO Quentin Mai stated that the results continue to link the broadly mineralized outcrops at surface with mineralization at depth, and that the next phase of drilling will focus on expanding the high-grade zone at northeast Tyro.

Material Impact

The drill results are materially positive and continue to build on a series of strong intercepts throughout 2025. The results are consistent with, and reinforce, the company's exploration model of a broad, near-surface, bulk-tonnage target containing higher-grade structures at the Tyro Main Zone.

  • Consistency and De-risking: The intercept of 82.4m of 1.61 g/t Au (GT of 133 gram-metres) is comparable in quality to the results from October 6 (GT of 146 and 118 gram-metres), demonstrating continuity of the mineralized system. This consistency is crucial as the company works towards a maiden resource estimate.
  • Grade and Width: The high-grade interval of 9.1m at 8.37 g/t Au is significant and confirms the potential for high-grade feeder zones within the larger, lower-grade halo. Mineralization starting at surface is economically advantageous for any potential open-pit scenario.
  • Market Expectation: The results meet or exceed reasonable market expectations for an infill/step-out drill program. While not as spectacular as the "discovery" style holes from April 22 (e.g., 30.48m of 9.05 g/t Au) that caused a major re-rating of the stock, this news provides the necessary validation that those results were not anomalous.

Overall, this news provides further evidence of a robust gold system at Tyro. It strengthens the investment case by adding potential ounces and increasing confidence in the geological model, which should be viewed positively by the market.

Company Overview

West Point Gold Corp. is a Canadian-based junior gold exploration company focused on projects within the Walker Lane trend in Arizona and Nevada.

The company's flagship asset is the Gold Chain Project in Mohave County, Arizona, which is situated on patented (private) land. The primary focus is the Tyro Main Zone, a 1km long gold-bearing structure that the company is aggressively drilling to define a maiden mineral resource. The exploration model envisions a large, open-pittable deposit with wide zones of mineralization hosting internal high-grade veins.

In October 2025, the company diversified its portfolio by acquiring the Baxter Spring Project in Nevada, an advanced-stage exploration project with significant, non-compliant historical drilling that includes high-grade gold intercepts.
