Zodiac Gold Commences New Drilling Program of up to 5,000 Metres at Flagship Arthington Gold Discovery
Zodiac’s Arthington drilling validates district-scale potential along the 16km Monterra Trend.

Zodiac Gold Inc. has launched a new diamond drilling program at its Arthington discovery, the flagship asset of the Todi Gold Project in Liberia. The initial phase targets a minimum of 3,000 metres, with the potential to expand to 5,000 metres depending on assay results and mineralization continuity. The program aims to aggressively expand known mineralization along strike and at depth, increase drill density, and support the goal of defining a planned mineral resource estimate.
The drilling runs concurrently with exploration at Ben Ben to Youth Camp targets along the 16-kilometre Monterra Trend. Historical drilling at Arthington has shown a 95% hit rate, with 37 of 39 holes returning significant results. Notable intercepts include 18.00 metres at 4.67 g/t Au and high-grade intervals up to 55.90 g/t Au. Management noted the potential to add a second drill rig in Q4 2026 to accelerate operations if results warrant.
Zodiac Gold Inc. (ZAU) is executing its previously announced 2026 exploration strategy, with the mobilization and commencement of drilling anticipated following the company’s June 2026 financing and rig mobilization announcements. The focus remains on validating the district-scale potential of the Monterra Trend and building toward a Q4 2026 resource estimate.
The continuation of drilling aligns with historical progress. Financially, the program is funded by the recently closed $5.6 million CAD private placement, ensuring operational continuity without immediate dilution risk.
Zodiac Gold Inc. is a West African gold explorer focused on the Todi Gold Project in Liberia. The company holds a 2,316 km² land package along the Todi Shear Zone, featuring five drill-ready targets.
The flagship Arthington discovery has been defined by 6,836 metres of drilling across 39 holes, with mineralization hosted in sheared amphibolite on a regional-scale shear zone extending 850 metres. The broader Monterra Trend spans 16 kilometres from Arthington to Youth Camp, with multiple high-priority targets identified.
The company is targeting a +1 moz gold resource in 2026, pending the completion of 14,000 metres of drilling and technical reporting by Dr. John Arthur. Secondary commodity focus includes iron ore, with a non-binding term sheet previously signed with Vitol for marketing and pre-payment facilities.
