Wallbridge Reports Latest Results from 2026 Martiniere Drill Program, Mineralization Continues to Expand Along Bug Lake Corridor

Wallbridge reports modest gram-metres at Martiniere step-outs, with the fire suspension already known and no fresh catalyst.

Executive Summary

Wallbridge Mining Company Limited (WM) released assay results from the final four holes (MR-26-143 to 146) of Phase 1 2026 drilling at its Martiniere gold project. All holes intersected gold-bearing structures within the Bug Lake deformation corridor, specifically in the Dragonfly and Horsefly zones.

Intercepts from the final holes included: - MR-26-143: 18.30 g/t Au / 1.4 m; 1.19 g/t Au / 7.4 m; 6.10 g/t Au / 1.5 m. - MR-26-144: 8.67 g/t / 1.8 m (incl. 18.70/0.8); 10.49 g/t / 2.5 m (incl. 8.94/0.5, 36.10/0.5); 3.69 g/t / 2.8 m (incl. 7.09/1.4); 4.34 g/t / 10.0 m (incl. 4.86/1.3, 4.27/3.8, 16.43/1.1); 2.25 g/t / 8.4 m (incl. 11.90/0.6). - MR-26-145: 8.21 g/t / 1.4 m; 5.50 g/t / 1.4 m; 4.66 g/t / 1.6 m; 10.10 g/t / 1.5 m (incl. 30.20/0.5). - MR-26-146: 9.95 g/t / 3.0 m (incl. 31.70/0.9); 3.46 g/t / 6.3 m (incl. 16.20/0.9); 2.63 g/t / 9.8 m (incl. 5.14/2.8, 3.30/2.0).

Phase 2 drilling, originally scheduled for early July, has been postponed due to forest-fire evacuation orders that were announced on July 2.

Material Impact

Wallbridge Mining Company Limited (WM) released incremental drilling results that confirm the mineralized system extends beyond the current resource boundary. However, the gram-metre values fall within the range of previously released data and do not represent a step-change in grade or thickness. The 2025 drill program delivered numerous intercepts exceeding 80 g-m, whereas these new results range from 25-43 g-m, which is materially less impressive. For a junior explorer with no revenue, the equity depends on high-grade discovery excitement, and these results are likely to disappoint elevated expectations set by earlier bonanza-style hits.

The stock rallied from C$0.07 to C$0.14 in September 2025 on strong drill results and a Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA), then drifted to C$0.08-0.09 by early 2026. A C$56M financing and announced consolidation pushed the price back to C$0.11 in May 2026, but it has since settled near C$0.09-0.10. The modest step-out results and fire delay are unlikely to move the stock, as the market already priced in the evacuation notice from July 2.

As a pre-resource expansion explorer with a Martiniere indicated resource of 346 koz and an inferred resource of 387 koz, these results are unlikely to materially alter the resource estimate or the equity thesis on their own.

Company Overview

Wallbridge Mining Company Limited (WM) is a gold explorer and developer focused on the Detour-Fenelon gold trend in Quebec’s Abitibi region. The company’s flagship Fenelon project features a 2025 Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) that includes 1.75 million ounces of indicated resources grading 3.62 grams per tonne of gold, alongside 1.65 million ounces of inferred resources. The Martiniere project holds 346,000 ounces of indicated resources at 2.29 grams per tonne and 387,000 ounces of inferred resources at 3.11 grams per tonne, bringing the combined indicated and inferred resources to approximately 4.1 million ounces.

The company’s fully-diluted share count stands at over 1.4 billion prior to consolidation. Following a C$56 million financing in May 2026, the basic share count is expected to reach approximately 1.83 billion. Pro forma cash is estimated at C$62 million to C$65 million after the financing and tax credits, calculated based on December 2025 cash of C$28.9 million plus the C$56 million net proceeds minus 2026 exploration spend. This capital is intended to fund the Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS) and 2026 drilling activities. Major shareholders include Agnico Eagle and Waratah, each holding approximately 19.9% of the company.

Wallbridge Mining is planning a 20:1 share consolidation and a rebranding to Sunday Lake Gold for the third quarter of 2026.
