Hercules Metals Completes IP Survey at Hook Target, Defining Large, Near-Surface Chargeability Anomaly

Hercules Metals advances drilling at the Hook target after an IP survey identified a large near-surface anomaly.

Executive Summary

Hercules Metals Corp. has completed an induced polarization (IP) survey at the Hook target, identifying a continuous chargeability anomaly extending approximately 1.8 km. The anomaly’s geometry and intensity are comparable to the nearby Leviathan porphyry copper discovery, with the highest-intensity portion (20-40 mV/V) modeled to begin within ~100 meters of surface.

Drilling has commenced at Hook (HER-26-03), currently at 200 meters depth. Due to access road constraints, an estimated 350-400 meters of drilled length is required to reach the target zone.

At the Southern Flats discovery, hole HER-26-01 was completed to 1,255 meters, extending porphyry mineralization 200 meters west of previous intercepts. A new step-out hole has begun at Leviathan to test a potential shallow southern extension of the hanging-wall enrichment zone.

Material Impact

Hercules Metals Corp. (BIG) reported that its recent IP survey results validate the company's 3D geological model and geophysical targeting strategy, confirming the Hook target as a high-priority, near-surface porphyry copper prospect. Drilling at Hook and Southern Flats aligns with the previously announced 2026 exploration plan, which targets 20,000 to 30,000 meters. These results are described as incremental and expected, reinforcing the district-scale potential of the Hercules property.

The company disclosed no new financial data, resource estimates, or strategic partnerships. Given the prior announcements regarding the completion of the IP survey and the commencement of drilling, the market likely anticipated these drill results, resulting in a positive but routine impact.

Company Overview

Hercules Metals Corp. is a pre-revenue exploration company focused on the 100%-owned Hercules Property in western Idaho. The company’s flagship project is the Leviathan porphyry copper discovery, which has demonstrated a strike length of more than 1 km, a width of up to 750m, and a vertical extent of 500m.

The 2026 exploration program targets four main areas: Leviathan (footwall and southwest extension), Southern Flats, Pegasus, and Hook. The company holds approximately 3,300 acres of surface mining rights, enabling year-round drilling without permitting delays.
