Oreterra Completes Airborne Geophysical Survey of the Kinkaid Cu-Au-Ag Project, Nevada, Identifies Significant New Porphyry Target
Oreterra advances Nevada porphyry targets with Trek South drilling approaching while maintaining a steady cash runway to support its ongoing exploration push.

Oreterra Metals Corp. (OTMC) has completed a helicopter-borne magnetic and radiometric survey at its 100% owned Kinkaid project in Nevada. The survey identified a prominent 1.7 x 1.0 km potassic anomaly over the Bismark Hill-Southern Barite porphyry target, as well as a new 1.2 x 0.9 km potassic anomaly with a coincident magnetic low.
Sampling at Bismark Hill returned weighted composite assays of 0.87 g/t Au over 15 metres, with hematitic nodules assaying up to 22.48 g/t Au. The PM Skarn & Gold Zone yielded a property-high assay of 31.16 g/t Au and historical stockpiles assaying up to 1,725 g/t Ag. Meanwhile, the Montreal Mine North area showed a 1 km linear trend of Cu-Au-Ag epithermal mineralization, with copper assays greater than 1% and silver up to greater than 1,000 g/t Ag.
Management plans ground IP + MT surveys over at least five targets to generate drill targets for initial testing as early as next year.
Oreterra Metals Corp. (OTMC) has completed its airborne survey, a milestone that aligns with the exploration roadmap announced in March 2026. Assay results from the survey are consistent with or slightly below the high-grade grab samples reported in March, which reached 50.5 g/t Au. These findings confirm the epithermal-porphyry geological model without introducing a surprise discovery.
The announcement does not trigger an immediate drill program at the Kinkaid property; management has explicitly stated that initial testing is targeted for next year. Instead, the primary near-term catalyst remains the maiden drill program at the Trek South prospect in British Columbia, which is scheduled for mid-July 2026. The news serves as incremental validation of the geological model and is not expected to alter capital allocation or timelines. The market anticipated this development following the prior announcement of the survey plan.
Oreterra Metals Corp. (TSXV: OTMC) is an exploration-stage company focused on copper, gold, and silver projects. The company underwent a corporate restructuring in February 2026, including a 10:1 share consolidation and a name change from Romios Gold Resources Inc.
Its flagship project is the Trek South porphyry copper-gold-silver prospect in BC's Golden Triangle, adjacent to Teck-Newmont's Galore Creek deposits. A NI 43-101 technical report recommends a two-phase, ~9,250-metre drill program.
Other assets include the Kinkaid property in Nevada, which is 100% owned and features porphyry-epithermal targets; the Scossa mine property in Nevada, a historic high-grade gold producer; and the Lundmark-Akow Lake property in Ontario, which has yielded VMS-style Au-Cu intersections.
