Independence Gold Reports Additional Gold-Silver Intersections and Gives an Exploration Update at the 3Ts Project, BC
Depth tests at Goofy and Dixie returned thin, low-grade results, signaling that the discovery premium is fading for Independence.

Independence Gold Corp. (IGO) has released assay results from six holes drilled during the 2026 spring program at its 3Ts gold-silver project in British Columbia. The results cover the Ian, Dixie, and Goofy veins and serve as an exploration update ahead of a fully funded 10,000-meter program scheduled to begin in early November.
The drilling at the Ian zone primarily tested gaps within existing drill coverage. Results from the Ian hanging-wall and accessory zones include:
- Hole 3TS-26-35: 8.35 m (75.09–83.44 m) at 2.39 g/t Au and 28.98 g/t Ag; true width 3.53 m. Includes 0.44 m at 13.91 g/t Au and 100.00 g/t Ag (true width 0.19 m).
- Hole 3TS-26-05: 5.00 m at 0.82 g/t Au and 4.00 g/t Ag; true width 1.71 m. Includes 1.00 m at 2.71 g/t Au and 13.00 g/t Ag.
- Hole 3TS-26-26: 1.53 m at 3.07 g/t Au and 49.67 g/t Ag; true width 0.98 m.
- Hole 3TS-26-31: 2.23 m at 2.03 g/t Au and 11.21 g/t Ag; true width 0.76 m.
At the Dixie zone, hole 3TS-26-41 tested approximately 30 meters below the discovery hole, returning:
- 8.52 m (132.00–140.52 m) at 1.84 g/t Au and 24.53 g/t Ag; true width 4.26 m. Separate interval 2.16 m at 1.54 g/t Au and 6.48 g/t Ag (true width 1.08 m).
Hole 3TS-26-53 at the Goofy zone represents the first test beneath the post-mineral microdiorite sill, intersecting:
- 4.31 m (210.12–214.43 m) at 1.61 g/t Au and 2.09 g/t Ag; true width 1.47 m.
The company has disclosed collar data, dips, azimuths, total depths, laboratory details, sampling methods, and Qualified Person information for the program.
Independence Gold Corp. (IGO) is a resource-stage explorer with a defined mineral resource estimate of approximately 765,000 ounces of gold equivalent, no revenue, and a market capitalization of roughly C$40 million. The company has fully funded a 10,000-meter drilling program at a cost of C$6.25 million, which closed on 26 October 2026.
Recent drilling results confirm that geological structures continue where predicted, supporting the geological model. However, these results were returned at grades below the resource average. At the Goofy zone, the company reported a below-cut-off intercept, contrasting with previous results that showed 14.70 g/t over 7 meters.
The company’s equity re-rated from $0.10 in mid-July to $0.21 on 4 September following results from the Goofy, Dixie, and Tommy zones. The stock has since returned to $0.12, matching the level seen on the original Goofy discovery day. The stock is currently capitalizing the resource at roughly C$52 per ounce, a valuation that typically requires resource growth rather than continuity confirmation. The material catalyst for the company is the upcoming winter program.
Independence Gold Corp. (TSXV: IGO) is a 100%-owner of three Canadian precious-metal exploration properties, including the 3Ts project on the Nechako Plateau in British Columbia. The 3Ts district, located approximately 16 km southwest of Artemis Gold's Blackwater mine, comprises 31 claims covering roughly 35,486 hectares. It is characterized as a low-sulphidation epithermal quartz-carbonate vein district with more than 20 known veins, featuring strike lengths ranging from 50 meters to over 1,100 meters and true widths up to 32 meters. Twelve of these veins remain undrilled. In February 2026, the company was granted two five-year area-based permits valid until February 2031. The Resource Area permit allows for up to 250 drill sites, 15 kilometers of trails, and 2,000 meters of trenching, while the Ootsa Area permit covers 75 sites, 15 kilometers of trails, 1,200 meters of trenching, and 160 line-kilometers of geophysics.
The company also holds the Boulevard property in the White Gold District of Yukon, consisting of 888 claims covering approximately 17,500 hectares adjacent to the Coffee project. This advanced exploration site features historical reverse circulation and diamond drilling, including intercept YCS15-03 which returned 6.10 meters at 4.25 grams per tonne of gold. These historical results are non-43-101 compliant and carry no QA/QC weight. Additionally, Independence Gold owns the Tay property on the Nechako Plateau, which is currently in the early-stage grassroots exploration phase.
On 12 November 2025, SGS Geological Services, under the qualification of QP Rohan Millar, reported a mineral resource estimate for 3Ts. The Indicated resource totals 2.794 million tonnes at 3.18 grams per tonne of gold and 82.35 grams per tonne of silver, equating to 4.22 grams per tonne of gold equivalent and approximately 378,000 ounces of gold equivalent. The Inferred resource totals 2.962 million tonnes at 3.14 grams per tonne of gold and 73.27 grams per tonne of silver, equating to 4.06 grams per tonne of gold equivalent and approximately 387,000 ounces of gold equivalent. By cut-off, the estimate includes 2.218 million tonnes in-pit Indicated material at 4.07 grams per tonne of gold equivalent based on a 0.3 grams per tonne cut-off, and 0.576 million tonnes underground material at 4.77 grams per tonne of gold equivalent based on a 2.0 grams per tonne cut-off. The estimate assumes gold at $2,400 per ounce, silver at $30 per ounce, 97% gold and 94% silver recovery, ID2 interpolation, and a specific gravity of 2.70. The Balrog, Goofy, and Dixie deposits are not included in this estimate.
Financially, the company reported zero revenue with a first-half 2026 net loss of $4.05 million and an operating cash outflow of $3.03 million for the half. Cash holdings stood at $3.96 million as of 30 June 2026, with working capital of approximately $2.49 million at that date. The company had no debt or credit facility. Cash reserves were approximately $1.89 million as of 31 August 2026, according to the September investor deck. This followed a gross raise of approximately $6.25 million closed on 26 October 2026, consisting of 39.06 million shares at $0.16 plus half-warrants at $0.22. The share count increased from approximately 256.8 million in fiscal year 2025 to approximately 331 million on a pro forma basis.
Independence Gold is managed by President and CEO Randy Turner and CFO Harry Chan. The board of directors includes Darcy Marud, Mike McPhie, Terry Salman, and Louis Montpellier. The company operates without a joint-venture partner, funding all activities through equity.
