Independence Gold Announces Increase to Private Placement Financing
Independence raises $6.25 million to fund three targets exploration as shares consolidate near the $0.16 resistance level.

Independence Gold Corp. has increased the size of its previously announced private placement equity financing from $6.0 million to a maximum of $6.25 million. The company will issue up to 39,062,500 shares and units at a price of $0.16 per unit. Each unit consists of one common share and one-half of one common share purchase warrant.
The warrant terms include an exercise price of $0.22 per share, exercisable for 24 months from issuance. Proceeds from the flow-through shares will fund eligible Canadian exploration expenditures at the 3Ts Project in British Columbia, while unit proceeds will support general and administrative purposes. Closing is expected on or before October 26, 2026, subject to TSX Venture Exchange approval. Securities carry a four-month hold period.
Independence Gold Corp. (IGO) raised $6.25 million, an increase of $250,000 from the previously announced $6.0 million, following its September 29, 2026 announcement. The capital will fund the ongoing 2026 drill program and cover operational costs.
The financing was priced at $0.16 per unit, above the recent trading range of $0.12 to $0.15. The deal includes warrants with a $0.22 exercise price.
The transaction is dilutive, adding approximately 39 million shares or units to the capital structure, with additional dilution expected upon warrant exercise. The capital extends the company's runway to execute planned drilling and general and administrative activities.
Independence Gold Corp. is an exploration-stage company focused on gold, silver, and base metals in British Columbia and Yukon. Its flagship asset is the 3Ts Gold and Silver Project, located on the Nechako Plateau in British Columbia, approximately 16 km southwest of Artemis Gold's Blackwater mine. The company holds tenure over 31 claims covering approximately 35,486 hectares.
The project is characterized by a low-sulphidation epithermal quartz-carbonate vein district. Recent drilling has validated a new district-scale structural model, leading to three new blind vein discoveries—Balrog, Goofy, and Dixie—in 2026.
