Independence Gold Discovers New Dixie Vein Returning 2.8 g/t Gold and 12.54 g/t Silver over 11.40 Metres at the 3Ts Project, BC
Independence’s third blind vein at the project returned 31.9 g·m Au from a single hole, validating the geological model with modest grades.

Independence Gold Corp. (IGO) announced the discovery of the Dixie Vein, a blind low-sulphidation epithermal vein, at its 3Ts Gold-Silver Project in British Columbia. Hole 3TS-26-29 intersected two distinct zones within the structure.
- Gold-Silver Zone: 11.40 m @ 2.80 g/t Au and 12.54 g/t Ag (core length).
- Includes 1.99 m @ 6.94 g/t Au and 25.13 g/t Ag.
- Polymetallic Zone: 14.19 m @ 0.43% Pb and 1.37% Zn (below the Au-Ag zone).
The estimated true width is 85% of the reported interval, resulting in approximately 9.7 m true width for the Au-Ag zone. The Dixie Vein marks the third blind discovery generated from the company’s structural exploration model, following the Balrog and Goofy discoveries. Additional assays are pending from follow-up holes.
Independence Gold Corp. (IGO) is a pre-production explorer with an existing resource of 378 koz AuEq indicated and 387 koz inferred, carrying a market capitalization of approximately $29 million. The stock has been trading in a range around $0.10–$0.12, and the recent Goofy high-grade discovery barely moved the price, registering a small pop to $0.12 that faded. The market is not ascribing much speculative value to these early-stage greenfield hits.
The Dixie discovery serves as a confirmation hole that the exploration model works, but its grade is modest. It does not materially expand the known resource or demonstrate a step-change in the grade-tonnage potential.
Independence Gold Corp. (IGO) is a junior precious metals explorer focused on its flagship 3Ts Gold-Silver Project in central British Columbia, located 16 km from Artemis’s Blackwater mine. The project encompasses 31 claims totaling approximately 35,486 hectares within a low-sulphidation epithermal vein district containing more than 19 known veins.
In November 2025, the company released a NI 43-101 mineral resource estimate. The estimate includes 2.79 million tonnes of indicated resources grading 4.22 g/t AuEq for 378,000 ounces of AuEq, and 2.96 million tonnes of inferred resources grading 4.06 g/t AuEq for 387,000 ounces of AuEq. No reserves have been defined. The company also holds the early-stage Tay and Boulevard projects.
Financially, Independence Gold reported approximately $6.5 million in cash at the end of Q1 2026, with no debt and a working capital of approximately $5.2 million, which is sufficient for near-term exploration. The company currently generates no revenue and will need to raise additional funds beyond its current programs.
