Graphano Energy Completes Ground Geophysics, Identifies Three New Graphite Occurrences at Black Jack and Mobilizes Field Crew
Graphano expands district-scale potential at Black Jack with new graphite zones ahead of channel assays.

Graphano Energy Ltd. has completed a ground geophysical survey at its Black Jack graphite discovery in Quebec, identifying three new surface occurrences of visible graphite mineralization designated as Black 3, 4, and 5. The survey delineates a continuous 4-kilometre-long conductive trend hosting multiple graphite occurrences between the Black Jack and Black Pearl deposits.
A field crew led by St Pierre Exploration will mobilize within two weeks to conduct stripping, mapping, and channel sampling of the newly identified zones. The company is awaiting laboratory assay results from 98 channel samples submitted on September 30, 2026. Previous stripping at Black Jack defined graphite mineralization over approximately 125 metres with surface widths of 4 to 24 metres.
This update follows the completion of the prospecting phase at Black Jack in early October 2026, which returned grab samples averaging 19.8% graphitic carbon (Cg), and the subsequent amendment of a $900,000 private placement to include flow-through shares.
Graphano Energy Ltd. (GEL) has identified a 4km conductive trend at its Black Jack project, a development that validates the geological model established during spring 2026 prospecting and the August 2026 permit acquisition. This finding expands the known strike length from the previously reported ~1.2km airborne conductor to a ground-verified trend, marking a logical progression of the company's exploration program.
The update remains an early-stage exploration report, as no drill results or definitive resource estimates are provided. The immediate catalyst will be the pending channel sample assays from the September 30 submission, which will determine if the new zones—Black 3, 4, and 5—host continuous, high-grade mineralization comparable to the initial grab samples.
To support the upcoming field program, the company recently secured a $900,000 financing amendment, providing the necessary capital to align operational activity with available liquidity.
Graphano Energy Ltd. is a pre-revenue graphite exploration company focused on the Lac Aux Bouleaux (LAB), Standard, and Black Pearl/Black Jack properties in Quebec, Canada. Its flagship Black Pearl and Black Jack discoveries are located approximately one kilometre northwest of Northern Graphite's Lac-des-Iles mine and processing facility, a strategic adjacency that offers potential infrastructure sharing and fast-tracked processing pathways.
The company has filed a NI 43-101 Mineral Resource estimate for LAB and Standard, reporting 3.22 million tonnes at 7.0% graphitic carbon. Metallurgical testing has shown recovery rates exceeding 90%. Management's strategy focuses on advancing near-surface, high-grade graphite deposits toward production through partnerships and efficient exploration methodologies, including AI-assisted targeting.
