Gladiator Intersects 36.0m @ 2.63% Cu Including 20.0m @ 3.61% Cu at Cowley, Expanding High-Grade Southern Limb

Gladiator’s Cowley step-out intersection confirms rock presence but indicates the deposit has not yet reached scale.

Executive Summary

Gladiator Metals Corp. (GLAD) released assay results for six drill holes totaling 1,390 meters at the Cowley prospect on its Whitehorse Copper Project in the Yukon. The results cover the Southern and Northern Limbs of the deposit.

In the Southern Limb, hole CPG-176 returned 36.0 meters at 2.63% copper, 0.09 grams per tonne gold, 12.06 grams per tonne silver, and 856 parts per million molybdenum from 68.0 meters, including 20.0 meters at 3.61% copper, 0.12 grams per tonne gold, 13.68 grams per tonne silver, and 732 parts per million molybdenum from 84.0 meters. The same hole also reported a separate intercept of 2.0 meters at 0.98% copper with 1,475 parts per million molybdenum from 50.0 meters. Hole CPG-178 returned 52.2 meters at 1.17% copper, 0.15 grams per tonne gold, 6.00 grams per tonne silver, and 454 parts per million molybdenum from 70.8 meters, including 26.0 meters at 2.00% copper, 0.25 grams per tonne gold, 9.72 grams per tonne silver, and 736 parts per million molybdenum from 97.0 meters.

On the Northern Limb, hole CPG-158D2 returned 18.19 meters at 0.69% copper, 0.08 grams per tonne gold, 3.29 grams per tonne silver, and 383 parts per million molybdenum from 86.5 meters, including 5.80 meters at 1.49% copper from 90.7 meters. Hole CPG-163 returned 6.0 meters at 0.28% copper from 17.0 meters, while holes CPG-158D3 and CPG-164 returned no significant assays. A previously reported Southern Limb hole, CPG-173, returned 62.0 meters at 1.34% copper from 48.6 meters, including 47.3 meters at 1.48% copper.

The company stated that CPG-173, CPG-176, and CPG-178 were drilled from separate collars on similar north-northeast orientations, confirming a mineralized skarn horizon across approximately 50 meters of east-west strike.

Cowley has completed 89 holes for 1,390 meters in 2026, with assays pending for the lower Northern Limb zone in CPG-176 and other holes. More than 7,000 meters of assays remain outstanding, with a further 7,000 meters planned. The company targets a maiden NI 43-101 Indicated and Inferred resource for Cowley in 2027, a timeline later than the 2026 target stated in several earlier releases and the September 2026 presentation.

Material Impact

Gladiator Metals Corp. (GLAD) has reported a positive confirmation and modest extension of its Southern Limb mineralization, though the results do not constitute a new discovery or a resource-defining event. The best intercept was high-grade and shallow, while a second hole supported continuity. The release adds approximately 50 meters of demonstrated strike to a system the market already recognizes as mineralized over more than a kilometer.

The expectation anchor for the Southern Limb is hole CPG-173, previously reported at 62.0 meters @ 1.34% Cu. The latest hole, CPG-176, showed better grade and slightly better Cu %-metres, while CPG-178 was weaker. These results are not a step-change in scale, but they confirm a known Southern Limb horizon rather than establishing a new zone, depth extent, or materially larger system.

At a market capitalization of roughly C$216 million, Gladiator is no longer a micro-cap where a single 36-meter high-grade hole automatically re-rates the entire story. The market has already priced in the Cub East discovery, the BlackRock-led C$35 million financing, and the broader Cowley thesis. The stock has round-tripped from C$3.71 in June 2026 to C$1.85, meaning the prior Southern Limb result is not embedded at a euphoric price, allowing for a potentially positive reaction to the news.

The resource timeline has slipped. Earlier releases and a September 2026 presentation pointed to a maiden Cowley resource or pre-resource delivery in 2026, but the current release indicates 2027. This delay is a negative offset to the drill quality, though not enough to make the release a negative event on its own.

In prior-period financial context, Gladiator is pre-revenue and reported a Q1-2027 net loss of C$3.5 million. The company held C$17.4 million in cash at May 31, 2026, and carried a going-concern flag in the MD&A. A C$35 million placement in July 2026 improved liquidity, but the company remains dependent on external capital.

Company Overview

Gladiator Metals Corp. (TSXV: GLAD, OTCQX: GDTRF, FSE: ZX7) is a TSXV-listed exploration company focused on the Whitehorse Copper Project in Yukon, Canada. The project features a 35 km long by 5 km wide high-grade copper-molybdenum-silver-gold skarn belt on the western margin of Whitehorse. Historical production from the Little Chief deposit between 1967 and 1982 totaled 267.5 million pounds copper, 225,000 ounces gold and 2.838 million ounces silver from 10.5 million tonnes milled at about 1.5% Cu and 0.75 g/t Au.

Key prospects include Cowley, Cub East, Chiefs Trend, Arctic Chief-Best Chance and Great Southern. Cowley is the cornerstone resource-definition target; Cub East is the newer high-grade copper-gold-silver magnetite skarn discovery. The company holds a Class 3 quartz exploration permit valid for five years, granted after YESAB review and consultation with Kwanlin Dün First Nation and Ta’an Kwäch’än Council.

The 2026-2027 program is described as fully funded with a budget greater than C$40 million and more than 100,000 m of drilling planned. The September 2026 presentation cited about C$45 million cash and 116.5 million shares outstanding. Prior-period context, not disclosed in today’s release: Q1-2027 financials showed no revenue, a C$3.5 million net loss, C$17.4 million cash at May 31, 2026, and an accumulated deficit of C$38.8 million. The MD&A carried a going-concern flag. The C$35.04 million BlackRock-led placement closed July 15, 2026.

No NI 43-101 mineral resource or reserve is reported in the provided materials. The company is pre-resource and pre-revenue.
