Gladiator Intersects 21.2m @ 3.07% Cu + 1.19 g/t Au at Cub East, Expanding High-Impact Discovery

Gladiator reports a high-grade copper-gold skarn intersection, with additional step-out assays planned at a distance of 600 metres.

Executive Summary

Gladiator Metals Corp. (GLAD) released assay results on September 15, 2026, covering 15 additional drill holes at the Cub East zone of its Whitehorse Copper Project in the Yukon. The headline intercept came from hole BCG-045, which returned 21.2m @ 3.07% Cu, 1.19 g/t Au and 24.65 g/t Ag from 183.0m. Another significant result was recorded in BCG-050, which intersected 47.0m @ 1.01% Cu, 0.44 g/t Au and 7.07 g/t Ag from 200.0m, including a higher-grade interval of 32.31m @ 1.40% Cu, 0.63 g/t Au and 9.70 g/t Ag.

Other reported intervals include BCG-036, which returned 12.1m @ 1.19% Cu, 1.12 g/t Au and 10.76 g/t Ag from 152.9m, along with a deeper 27.0m @ 0.70% Cu from 233.0m. Hole BCG-038 returned 23.0m @ 0.84% Cu, 0.30 g/t Au and 7.90 g/t Ag from 129.0m. Additionally, BCG-032 identified stacked zones including 16.80m @ 0.99% Cu and a local 4.10m @ 2.80% Cu.

The company states that the high-grade core at Cub East now demonstrates confirmed continuity over 350m of strike. First-pass drilling located more than 600m southeast of Cub East intersected mineralized skarn in holes BCG-052, BCG-054 and BCG-056, though assays for those holes remain pending. Surface rock chips from the trend returned up to 2.37% Cu, 38.0 g/t Ag and 3.24 g/t Au.

Material Impact

Gladiator Metals Corp. (GLAD) is a pre-revenue junior explorer with no declared mineral resource. The company’s market capitalization stands at roughly C$282 million, based on the last provided close of C$2.42. As the project is not yet resource-defined, every high-grade drill result carries weight. The stock has already re-rated substantially from about C$0.82 in November 2025 to a peak of C$3.71 in June 2026, driven by the Cub East and Cowley stories.

Against that backdrop, BCG-045 is a good hole but not a step change. It is shorter and lower in gold than the best prior Cub East intercept, BCG-023, and the more prospective 600m southeast step-out remains unassayed. The stock has fallen from its high and now trades near C$2.42, indicating that expectations have already partially reset from the peak. This release is likely enough to support the story and may produce a modest bounce, but it does not materially expand the assayed high-grade footprint. It serves as incremental confirmation rather than a new discovery or a major step-out with assays.

For a producer, this would be routine. For a junior explorer, the bar is lower, but the release does not overcome the embedded prior best. The result is an excellent in-line confirmation rather than positively differentiated news that changes the perceived scale or odds.

Company Overview

Gladiator Metals Corp. is a pre-revenue mineral explorer focused on the Whitehorse Copper Project in the Yukon, a 35km-long high-grade copper belt with historical production of 267.5 million pounds copper, 225,000 ounces gold and 2.84 million ounces silver from the Little Chief area. The project includes multiple prospect areas: Cowley Park, Cub East, Black Cub South, Little Chief, Middle Chief, Valerie, Arctic Chief and Best Chance.

A Class 3 exploration permit received in 2026 allows expanded drilling. The company has reported strong high-grade copper-gold skarn intercepts at Cub East and Cowley, but no NI 43-101 mineral resource has been declared. The investor presentation describes a target of more than 100 million tonnes of inferred copper resource this year, but that is an exploration target, not a resource.

Prior-period financial context: in the quarter ended May 31, 2026, Gladiator reported no revenue, a net loss of C$3.5 million, cash of C$17.4 million and an accumulated deficit of C$38.8 million. Management’s MD&A explicitly flags substantial doubt about the company’s ability to continue as a going concern. A C$35 million BlackRock-led private placement closed July 15, 2026, and the company has since stated cash of roughly C$45 million.
