Gladiator Has Commenced Drilling at Best Chance & Grafter, Fifth Rig Mobilized
Gladiator mobilized a fifth rig to accelerate high-grade copper drilling at its Whitehorse project.

Gladiator Metals Corp. (GLAD) has initiated an expanded drill program at the Best Chance and Grafter prospects within its 100%-owned Whitehorse Copper Project in the Yukon. To accelerate exploration across multiple targets, including Best Chance, Grafter, Cub Trend, and Cowley, a fifth drill rig has been mobilized to the site.
The company highlighted historical high-grade copper intercepts from previous drilling at Best Chance and Grafter to illustrate the potential for a broader mineralized system along the Arctic Chief Trend. These intercepts include BCH-024 (15.94m @ 3.19% Cu) and BCH-023 (46.27m @ 1.00% Cu). Recent gravity and Induced Polarization (IP) geophysical modeling suggests the presence of a larger, interconnected mineralized system, which the current aggressive drilling campaign aims to test.
Gladiator Metals maintains a fully funded 2026 drill program with a budget of more than $40 million. The company is targeting more than 100,000 meters of drilling for 2026 and 2027, with a focus on resource definition at Cowley and expanding the Cub East area.
Gladiator Metals Corp. (GLAD) has mobilized a fifth drill rig and commenced drilling at the Best Chance and Grafter prospects. This development follows the aggressive five-rig campaign announced in June and July 2026. The activity aligns with previous expectations, confirming that the company’s fully funded exploration budget is being deployed as planned. While the move signals operational momentum, it does not materially alter the company's valuation or exploration thesis, as it serves as a follow-up to previously announced drilling plans and historical assay data.
Gladiator Metals Corp. (GLAD) is a pre-revenue junior explorer focused on the Whitehorse Copper Project in the Yukon Territory, Canada. The project sits on a 35 km long high-grade copper belt with historical production from the Little Chief deposit (1967-1982), which yielded 267.5M lbs Cu, 225,000 oz Au, and 2.838M oz Ag.
Key prospects include Cowley (cornerstone resource target), Cub East (high-grade discovery), Chiefs Trend, Arctic Chief, and Best Chance. The company holds a Class 3 exploration permit (granted March 2026), allowing rapid resource definition and expansion across the belt. The project is in the advanced exploration stage, with management targeting maiden NI 43-101 inferred resources and broad resource growth over the next 12-24 months.
