White Gold Intersects 2.73 g/t Gold over 21.8m, including 4.18 g/t Gold over 8.8m, Extending VG Deposit High-Grade Mineralization 120m Down-Plunge to 350m and Expands the Ryan's Surprise Deposit Mineralization by 50m to the East and 50m to the West Inters
White reports solid grades at VG depth, while Ryan step-outs remain low-grade, failing to warrant a resource re-rate.

White Gold Corp. (WGO) has released additional 2026 drill results from the VG and Ryan’s Surprise deposits at its flagship White Gold Project in Yukon. The company reported one new hole from the VG deposit and five holes from Ryan’s Surprise, noting that assays remain pending for the majority of the 2026 drilling program.
Key reported intercepts, as core lengths:
- VG, hole QV26-025: 2.73 g/t Au over 21.75 m from 259.25 m, including 4.18 g/t Au over 8.80 m from 269.95 m.
- VG, QV26-025 lower zones: 1.24 g/t Au over 6.05 m from 291.80 m; 0.50 g/t Au over 3.60 m from 303.15 m; 0.99 g/t Au over 1.45 m from 311.50 m.
- Ryan’s Surprise, WHTRS26D034: 3.90 g/t Au over 3.00 m from 45.00 m; 0.58 g/t Au over 19.95 m from 90.85 m, including 1.27 g/t Au over 3.50 m.
- Ryan’s Surprise, WHTRS26D035: 0.96 g/t Au over 20.82 m from 58.00 m, including 1.22 g/t Au over 7.00 m and 1.13 g/t Au over 9.72 m; plus 1.46 g/t Au over 9.70 m from 254.50 m, including 2.53 g/t Au over 5.10 m.
- Ryan’s Surprise, WHTRS26D037A: 3.36 g/t Au over 2.25 m from 176.00 m; 1.55 g/t Au over 3.30 m from 184.30 m; 1.63 g/t Au over 3.20 m from 23.30 m; 1.87 g/t Au over 1.40 m from 120.60 m.
- Ryan’s Surprise, WHTRS26D033: only narrow low-grade intervals, including 0.62 g/t Au over 0.35 m.
- Ryan’s Surprise, WHTRS26D036: no significant results.
According to the release, VG mineralization is now defined continuously from approximately 230 m to 350 m down-plunge over a strike length of roughly 170 m at depth. Additionally, the Ryan’s Surprise deposit has been extended about 50 m to the west and 50 m to the east. True widths are estimated at 80–95% of core length, and no cutoff grade is stated for the highlighted intervals.
The 2026 program plans for 53 holes and approximately 18,810 m of drilling. Results have been reported for nine holes, with assays pending for 44. At the VG deposit, six of nine holes are pending, while at Ryan’s Surprise, ten of fifteen holes remain pending.
White Gold Corp. (WGO) released drill results from its White Gold Project, providing further data on the VG and Ryan’s Surprise zones. The company did not report new financial results in this release. As of Q1 2026, White Gold Corp. held approximately C$18.8 million in cash, C$18.4 million in working capital, and no debt, with a going-concern flag dependent on future financing. The company also has a flow-through commitment of approximately C$14.5 million to be spent by December 31, 2026.
The VG result confirms that high-grade mineralization continues below the current resource model to about 350 m down-plunge over a strike length of about 170 m at depth. This extension supports the view that the VG zone is not closed off at 230 m. The release reports only one new VG hole, with grades in line with, but not materially better than, prior QV26-026 and historical QV13-011 results. If similar results are confirmed in the six pending VG holes, the deposit—which currently has about 296,000 oz inferred—could see meaningful additions.
At Ryan’s Surprise, step-outs extend the footprint about 50 m east and west. However, grades are mostly around 1 g/t or less over mineable widths, with only narrow high-grade spikes. Two barren or weak holes also constrain the system, and the results are not considered sufficient to materially change the Ryan’s Surprise resource case.
The market has already de-rated the stock from C$2.40 in late August 2026 to C$1.41 in late October 2026. Following the prior release on October 20, the stock fell from about C$1.56 to C$1.38 over the following two sessions. This suggests the market is not pricing these assays as a major catalyst, focusing instead on the larger pending program, the W2 spin-out, financing, and the PEA.
Relative to the C$1.86 billion after-tax PEA NPV, the current market cap of about C$319 million is not demanding, but the PEA requires about C$1.0 billion in initial capital, permitting, infrastructure, and financing. The equity remains a development-risk story rather than a production story, as drill results at VG do not de-risk the capex or permitting requirements.
White Gold Corp. (TSXV: WGO, OTCQX: WGOFF, FRA: 0H5) is a Yukon-focused gold explorer and developer that owns a district-scale claim package comprising approximately 15,364 quartz claims across 19 properties. This portfolio covers roughly 303,001 hectares, representing about 40% of the White Gold District. Agnico Eagle Mines serves as a major strategic shareholder, while the company is simultaneously spinning out critical mineral assets into W2 Critical Minerals Corp.
The company’s flagship White Gold Project hosts four near-surface gold deposits with the following resource estimates:
- Golden Saddle: 1.614 moz indicated at 1.62 g/t Au; 268,700 oz inferred at 1.07 g/t Au.
- Arc: 115,800 oz indicated at 0.88 g/t Au; 397,000 oz inferred at 1.01 g/t Au.
- Ryan’s Surprise: 280,300 oz inferred at 1.53 g/t Au.
- VG: 296,000 oz inferred at 1.46 g/t Au.
The total resource stands at approximately 1.732 moz indicated at 1.53 g/t Au and 1.266 moz inferred at 1.22 g/t Au.
A 2026 Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) outlines a 9.4-year, 12,000 tpd open-pit operation. At a gold price of US$3,600/oz, the project is projected to produce about 188,000 oz/yr over its life of mine, with production reaching 223,000 oz/yr in the first five years. The assessment reports an after-tax NPV(5%) of C$1.86 billion, an after-tax IRR of 41%, and a payback period of 1.5 years. Life-of-mine cash costs are estimated at about US$1,290/oz, with an All-In Sustaining Cost (AISC) of about US$1,482/oz. Initial capital requirements are approximately C$1.0 billion.
Average gold recovery is assumed at 87%. Specific deposit recoveries include 92% for Golden Saddle and VG, while Arc and Ryan’s Surprise are projected at around 72.5% due to preg-robbing issues. The PEA is preliminary in nature, utilizes Inferred resources, and does not constitute a reserve or a production decision.
Financially, the company reported approximately C$18.8 million in cash and C$18.4 million in working capital at Q1 2026, with no debt and a going-concern flag. White Gold Corp. has no revenue and must spend about C$14.5 million in flow-through funds by December 31, 2026.
