White Gold Expands the High-Grade Core at Golden Saddle Deposit Intersecting 5.13 g/t Gold over 7.9m within 1.47g/t Gold over 38.1m and Significantly Extends the VG Deposit High-Grade Mineralization by 90m to 320m Down-Plunge Across 150m of Strike Length

White reports high-grade intersections at the Golden Saddle and VG extensions, confirming the deposit model despite headline grades lagging prior anchor holes.

Executive Summary

White Gold Corp. has released the first assay results from its 2026 drill program at the flagship White Gold Project in the Yukon. This initiative represents the company’s largest program to date, accounting for approximately 20% of the roughly 92,000 meters drilled prior to 2026. While assays for 49 additional holes remain pending, three specific holes have been reported, providing new data on the project’s deposits.

At the Golden Saddle deposit, hole WHTGS26D0219 intersected the Main Zone with 1.47 g/t Au over 38.08 m from 397.12 m, including 5.13 g/t Au over 7.88 m, and 10.48 g/t Au over 2.88 m. The same hole also returned 1.16 g/t Au over 12.60 m from 140.50 m in the hanging wall, and 1.36 g/t Au over 2.50 m. In the footwall, the hole intersected 0.61 g/t Au over 10.80 m from 635.00 m and 4.05 g/t Au over 1.97 m from 657.40 m. These results are described as extending the greater than 5 g/t high-grade core approximately 50 m west at roughly 300 m vertical depth, remaining within the resource pit shell.

Assays from the VG deposit show hole QV26-026 intersecting 2.53 g/t Au over 18.90 m from 172.10 m, including 4.27 g/t Au over 2.43 m and 4.57 g/t Au over 1.84 m, located approximately 320 m down-plunge. Hole QV26-024, also approximately 300 m down-plunge, returned 0.64 g/t Au over 3.32 m and 0.71 g/t Au over 38.45 m from 244.55 m, including 1.14 g/t Au over 6.18 m.

Additionally, historical hole QV13-011 from the Comstock deposit, drilled in 2013, reported 2.43 g/t Au over 21.36 m, including 3.40 g/t Au over 12.54 m. This historical data is reported to bridge a drilling gap of approximately 120 m and tie VG continuity to roughly 350 m down-plunge.

The company states that these results validate the C$1.86 billion after-tax net present value preliminary economic assessment based on a US$3,600/oz gold price. White Gold Corp. reiterates that all four deposits at the project remain open.

Material Impact

White Gold Corp. (WGO) is an advanced explorer and developer with a preliminary economic assessment filed, an estimated 3.0 moz resource, no revenue, and pre-permit status, carrying a market capitalization of C$355M. While drill results hold more weight at this stage than at producing mines, the recent findings represent extensions at long-defined deposits rather than new discoveries.

The results are measured against the bar set by the same zone, specifically hole 218A at approximately 346 g·m and hole 216 at approximately 181 g·m. Hole 219 returned approximately 56 g·m, which is less than one-third of the weaker anchor at a lower grade. However, the previous anchor is only partially reflected in the current share price of $1.57. The stock has declined approximately 35% from its August 2026 high of $2.40 and has round-tripped substantially from the post-anchor peak of $2.29. The preliminary economic assessment, rather than discovery holes, is the current driver of the share price, meaning the market is not pricing in a repeat of previous high-grade intercepts.

The Golden Saddle core extension and the VG down-plunge step-out are genuine additions, though both are incremental rather than scale-changing. No resource or economic milestone was delivered.

Company Overview

White Gold Corp. (TSXV: WGO; OTCQX: WHGOF; FSE: 29W) holds 15,364 quartz claims across 19 properties, encompassing approximately 303,001 hectares, which represents about 40% of the Yukon's White Gold District. The company’s operations are strategically supported by Agnico Eagle Mines.

The company’s flagship White Gold Project features four near-surface deposits with the following resource estimates:

  • Golden Saddle: 1.614 moz Indicated @ 1.62 g/t; 268.7 koz Inferred @ 1.07 g/t
  • Arc: 115.8 koz Indicated @ 0.88 g/t; 397 koz Inferred @ 1.01 g/t
  • Ryan's Surprise: 280.3 koz Inferred @ 1.53 g/t
  • VG: 296 koz Inferred @ 1.46 g/t

These deposits total approximately 1.73 moz Indicated and 1.27 moz Inferred, rounding to roughly 3.0 moz.

A preliminary economic assessment (PEA) dated September 2026 outlines a 9.4-year, 12,000 tpd open-pit operation. The project is projected to produce 188 koz/yr over the life of mine, with 223 koz/yr in the first five years. The head grade is 1.54 g/t with an 87% recovery rate and a 9:1 strip ratio. The all-in sustaining cost (AISC) is estimated at approximately US$1,482/oz. Initial capital expenditure is projected at roughly C$1.0B, yielding an after-tax NPV(5%) of C$1.86B and an IRR of 41%. At a gold price of US$3,600/oz, the project offers a 1.5-year payback period.

Corporate developments include the spin-out of W2 Critical Minerals, which holds six Cu-Mo-W-Sb-Zn-Bi properties. Shareholders received a 1-for-5 dividend-in-kind, with White Gold Corp. retaining approximately 19.9% of the new entity. In May 2026, Donovan Pollitt was appointed President, and Shawn Ryan serves as Chief Technical Advisor.

Financial results for the first quarter of 2026 showed no revenue and a net loss of C$1.85M. The company held C$18.79M in cash and C$18.37M in working capital, with no debt. The financial statements included a going-concern flag, and a $14.46M flow-through commitment is due by December 31, 2026.
