BP Silver Corp. Intersects 142 Meters Grading 2.14% Zinc Equivalent, Including 59 Meters at 3.72% Zinc Equivalent and 2 Meters at 495 g/t Silver Equivalent
bp reports broad low-grade zinc discovery offsets two sub-economic holes at its flagship silver target.

BP Silver Corp. (BPAG) has received assay results for three additional Phase 2 drill holes, including CO-0015 at the new Jalsuri North target, and CO-0011 and CO-0014 at the flagship Pocañita Chica target.
- CO-0015 (Jalsuri North): 142 m @ 1.42% Zn, 8.89 g/t Ag, 0.04 g/t Au (2.14% ZnEq) from 5.0 to 147.0 m.
- Nested within it: 59 m @ 2.57% Zn, 12.25 g/t Ag (3.72% ZnEq) from 5–64 m; and 22 m @ 5.18% Zn, 27.75 g/t Ag (7.75% ZnEq) from 19–41 m.
- Also nested: 17 m @ 38.95 g/t Ag, 0.23 g/t Au, 4.92% Zn, 0.31% Cu (192.95 g/t AgEq) from 28–45 m; a 2 m @ 249.0 g/t Ag (495.4 g/t AgEq) from 35–37 m; a 2 m @ 132.0 g/t Ag (189.0 g/t AgEq) from 107–109 m; and 17 m @ 1.74 g/t Ag, 1.54% Zn (1.56% ZnEq) from 83–100 m.
- Single-sample maximums within CO-0015: up to 15.2% Zn over 1 m, >1.0% Cu (over-limit, re-assay pending), up to 288 g/t Ag, up to 1.42 g/t Au, up to 288 ppm Bi, 1,265 ppm Sb and 8,960 ppm Pb.
- CO-0011 (Pocañita Chica): 25 m @ 18.32 g/t Ag (23.17 g/t AgEq).
- CO-0014 (Pocañita Chica): 5 m @ 14.19 g/t Ag (16.71 g/t AgEq).
The company describes the Pocañita Chica results as anomalous but sub-economic. Cutoffs for reporting include silver intervals at 10 g/t Ag and zinc intervals at 0.10% Zn, with sub-intervals at 0.50% and 1.00% Zn. True widths have not been determined, and all reported intervals represent core lengths. The ZnEq and AgEq calculations utilize USGS 2025 average prices and assume a flat 90% recovery for every metal, with no metallurgical testwork performed.
BP Silver Corp. (BPAG) is a micro-cap explorer with a market capitalization of approximately C$61 million and roughly 85 million fully diluted shares. The company held approximately C$9.55 million in cash as of June 30, 2026, according to prior-period financials. At this pre-resource stage, drill results are weighted against equity rather than reserves.
The company’s Phase 1 discovery, hole CO-0008, returned 38 meters at approximately 109 grams per tonne silver-equivalent (AgEq), including 5 meters at 600 grams per tonne Ag, as reported on February 27, 2026. This result previously drove the stock from approximately $0.82 to a range of $1.20–$1.32. More recently, hole CO-0013, which reported 3 meters at 1,328.8 grams per tonne AgEq on September 29, 2026, moved the stock only about 5% from $0.94 to $0.99, a gain that has not held.
The latest results, hole CO-0015, target the Jalsuri North zone, distinct from the primary silver anchor. Compared to prior Jalsuri results—CO-0001 with 64 meters at approximately 52 grams per tonne AgEq and CO-0003 with 28 meters at approximately 51 grams per tonne AgEq—CO-0015 presents a broader zone with a higher-grade core, marking a step forward for that sub-target. However, against the expectations for the flagship Pocañita Chica area, the release included two sub-economic holes.
The announcement introduces a new 142-meter mineralized zone extending from the surface, located approximately 3 kilometers from the known zone, which modestly increases perceived scale. It does not, however, improve perceived grade on silver, the commodity the market prioritizes, nor does it support confidence in the continuity of the flagship high-grade silver zone. Because there is currently no defined resource, no metallurgical data, and the zinc grade is sub-economic in isolation, the release does not alter the resource or economic thesis.
BP Silver Corp. (TSXV: BPAG / OTCQB: BPSCF) is a pre-revenue Canadian junior focused on silver-polymetallic projects in Bolivia. The company holds a 52% interest in its flagship Cosuño project through Emisur Minera S.A., with the path to 100% ownership contingent upon a US$2.3M payment due in 2029. The Cosuño property spans 3,375 hectares and features an approximately 10.5 km² alteration system with a mineralized lithocap. A 2% NSR applies to the project, which is buyable for US$2.5M within five years of drilling or US$5.0M thereafter.
The company also owns 100% of the Titiri project, a 4,900-hectare early-stage silver-lead-zinc property. Titiri has undergone historical trenching only, and title is currently pending.
As of June 30, 2026, BP Silver reported approximately C$9.55M in cash with no debt. The company’s 2026 work budget is set at approximately C$4.5M. In 2026, BP Silver raised approximately $10.2M via placements at C$1.00 with C$1.30 half-warrants. Insider ownership stands at approximately 22%, and Atrium Research provides coverage with a C$2.00 target, according to a company presentation.
Prior-period financials for the nine months ended June 30, 2026, showed a net loss of $2.85M and an EPS of -$0.04. Book value per share was approximately $0.16, with no revenue generated. These figures were not disclosed in today’s drill release.
