Gold Hart Copper Acquires Mantocobre Gold-Copper IOCG Asset
Gold Hart adds a low-cost IOCG asset near Capstone Mine in Chile, expanding its portfolio through dilutive options.

Gold Hart Copper Corp. (HART) has acquired the Mantocobre gold-copper IOCG asset in Chile from the government at a minimal cost. The property covers 4,000 hectares and is situated south of Capstone's Mantoverde mine within the Atacama Fault System. The asset is 100% owned with no royalties attached, featuring visible copper minerals, historic high-grade pits, and sediment cover that conceals untested zones. Preliminary geochemical and geophysical surveys are currently underway, with results expected in the very near future.
In administrative developments, the company issued 14,500,000 stock options to key advisors and executives at $0.20 per share for a five-year term, bringing the total Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) to 7.5% of shares outstanding. Updates also include progress on the Copioso asset application and ongoing work at the Nessa properties.
Gold Hart Copper Corp. (HART) has acquired a 4,000-hectare IOCG property in Chile, an asset characterized by no royalties and minimal cost. The transaction aligns with the company’s established strategy of consolidating historic and government-held assets within the country’s prolific copper-gold belts. However, the property remains a greenfield exploration target with no defined resource.
In conjunction with the acquisition, the company issued 14.5 million options, representing approximately 10% dilution to the current float. While such issuances are standard for executive compensation, they contribute to the existing overhang of convertible securities.
The stock has declined approximately 50% from its May 2026 highs. This news is considered incremental and expected, and it does not materially alter the company's pre-revenue exploration status or cash burn trajectory.
Gold Hart Copper Corp. (HART) is a pre-revenue exploration company focused on building a large land package in Chile's Vicuña District and Domeyko Fault System. Its flagship Tolita project is a gold-copper-molybdenum porphyry target spanning 3,476 hectares. Recent drilling has intercepted long intervals of mineralization, including over 340m of porphyry-style mineralization starting from surface.
The company’s secondary assets include Nessa, which covers 13,500 hectares and shows high-grade surface copper and gold samples. Toro, Zelma, Casale Sur, and Cachitos round out the portfolio, all strategically located near major mining operations like Barrick/Newmont's Norte Abierto JV. The company operates entirely on exploration budgets funded through equity issuances, with no debt or royalties on its Chilean properties.
