Aldebaran Reports 1,728.9 m of 0.45% CuEq (0.41% Cu, 0.03 g/t Au & 1.34 g/t Ag), including 756 m of 0.68% CuEq (0.61% Cu, 0.03 g/t Au & 2.12 g/t Ag) at the Altar Copper-Gold Project in San Juan, Argentina

Aldebaran Resources Inc. (ALDE) has released the final results from its 2025-2026 infill and geotechnical drilling program at the Altar project in Argentina. The program was designed to upgrade Inferred resources to Measured and Indicated categories. The release highlights significant long-interval mineralization, most notably in hole ALD-26-260, which intersected 1,728.90 meters of 0.45% CuEq, including a 1,427.90-meter interval of 0.52% CuEq.
Management states that over 40,000 meters of drilling have been completed at the main Altar deposit since the last resource estimate in late 2024, with an updated mineral resource estimate and Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS) scheduled for 2027.

Samples were analyzed at the ALS laboratory in Lima using 30g fire assay with atomic absorption (AA) finish for gold and full multi-acid digestion (4-acid) with ICP-AES for other elements. Gold results exceeding detection limits were re-analyzed by fire assay with gravimetric finish. QA/QC includes certified control standards (SCRM’s), coarse field blanks, and duplicates inserted "blindly" at 10-12% of total samples.
The CuEq calculation used the formula: CuEq % = Cu % + (Au g/t * 0.34025) + (Ag g/t * 0.00446) + (Mo ppm * 0.00023). Metal prices used were Cu = US$3.00/lb, Au = US$1,400/oz, Ag = US$18/oz, and Mo = US$10/lb. Recoveries were set at Au = 50%, Ag = 51%, and Mo = 70%.
Technical notes indicate that intervals represent the true thickness of the deposit and grades are uncut. The Qualified Person for the project is Dr. Kevin B. Heather, Chief Geological Officer.
John Black, CEO, stated: “A mineralized interval exceeding 1.7 kilometres in a single drill hole underscores the immense scale of the Altar system... We believe the 2026 resource update will better demonstrate the scale and growth potential of the broader Altar Project and position us well for the Pre-Feasibility Study scheduled for completion in 2027.”
Kevin B. Heather, CGO, added: “With the release of this final batch of drill hole results, the Altar project continues to amaze us with long continuous intervals of copper mineralization... Collectively this bodes well for the upcoming mineral resource estimate and the pre-feasibility study.”
