Kalo Gold's Wainikoro Corridor Extends 4.3 Kilometres and Remains Open, with Gold Results to 8.78 g/t Au Along its Length, Vatu Aurum, Fiji
Kalo’s Wainikoro corridor extends 4.3km with gold mineralization remaining open at depth and along strike.

Kalo Gold Corp. released an exploration update on the Wainikoro target area of its Vatu Aurum Project in Fiji. A principal induced polarization (IP) resistivity corridor extends approximately 4.3 kilometers and remains open along strike. Gold results are recorded along the entire length of the corridor, with the New Vein Cluster returning up to 7.83 g/t gold and 108 g/t silver.
Field screening in the western area returned up to 2,744 detectORE Units (~2.74 g/t Au estimated). Trenching exposed hydrothermally altered breccia corresponding with resistivity highs, with gold responses concentrated at lithological margins. The company plans to commence controlled-source audio-frequency magnetotellurics (CSAMT) surveying in late September 2026 to test the depth continuity of these structures.
Kalo Gold Corp. (KALO) released an incremental exploration update that validates and extends the geological model established in prior months. The company outlined a clear progression of findings, beginning in June 2026 with the confirmation of a 1.8 km strike length. This was followed in July 2026 by the confirmation of bedrock continuity, which included fire assays up to 8.78 g/t Au. On September 8, the company identified high-grade veins at the New Vein Cluster.
The 4.3 km extension and consistent gold intercepts reduce geological uncertainty but do not represent a new discovery or a change in project scale. The announcement of a CSAMT survey is a routine next step in the exploration workflow to test depth continuity before planning the next drill campaign. No new financing, management changes, or material economic studies are disclosed.
Kalo Gold Corp. is a pre-revenue junior exploration company focused on its 100%-owned Vatu Aurum Project in Vanua Levu, Fiji. The project covers approximately 367 square kilometers across two Special Prospecting Licences. The flagship project is interpreted as a single, multi-phase, structurally reactivated volcanic complex hosting low-sulphidation epithermal gold systems. Key target areas include the Qiriyaga Complex, which features diatreme-margin targets, and the Wainikoro target, an epithermal system along the Nubu Graben corridor. The company has completed Phase 1 drilling, extensive trenching, soil geochemistry, and a 6,212 line-kilometre airborne magnetic survey. No mineral resources or reserves have been disclosed.
