Kalo Gold Samples 16,361 dU (~16.36 g/t Au est.) at New Kope Road North Occurrence as Wainikoro Heads Toward January Drilling

Kalo’s field screening at the Wainikoro project indicates high-grade gold ahead of a planned drill program in January 2027.

Executive Summary

Kalo Gold Corp. has identified new gold occurrences at the Kope Road North target within the Wainikoro area of its Vatu Aurum Project in Fiji. The highest result recorded was 16,361 detectORE™ Units (dU), estimated at approximately 16.36 g/t Au, from sample KRN-LR26-G-035D. Follow-up sampling in the surrounding area returned multiple additional anomalous gold responses, ranging from approximately 0.12 g/t to 3.96 g/t Au estimated.

The primary sample will be submitted to ALS Limited for certified fire assay, with results pending. detectORE™ values are semi-quantitative field-screening results and are not certified assays.

Exploration activities are advancing, with the IP survey complete and CSAMT surveying underway. Mechanized trenching is also progressing. Road upgrades are currently underway to support a planned drill program commencing in January 2027.

Material Impact

Kalo Gold Corp. (KALO) released an incremental exploration update that does not constitute a material financial or operational catalyst. The announcement aligns with the company’s previously communicated exploration roadmap, which has progressively advanced from soil geochemistry and trenching to geophysics and now pre-drill screening. The high-grade result cited in the release is based on detectORE™ field screening, which the company explicitly states is semi-quantitative and not equivalent to certified fire assay results.

No new capital was raised, and no changes to the capital structure or debt profile occurred. The news is expected and routine, serving to maintain investor interest and validate the geological model ahead of the January 2027 drilling campaign.

Company Overview

Kalo Gold Corp. is a pre-revenue junior exploration company focused on its 100%-owned Vatu Aurum Project in Vanua Levu, Fiji. The project covers approximately 367 square kilometers and is interpreted as a single, multi-phase, structurally reactivated volcanic complex hosting low-sulphidation epithermal gold systems. Flagship targets include the Wainikoro area and the Qiriyaga Complex.

The company utilizes a proprietary detectORE™ field-screening system to accelerate sample analysis, which has shown a strong historical correlation (Pearson R = 0.98) with certified fire assay results. No mineral resources or reserves have been disclosed to date.
