Getty Drills 46m of 1.47% Copper Within 150m of 0.71% Copper in Step-Out Intercepts at Getty South

Getty’s south step-outs returned 46m at 1.47% copper within a broader 150m interval grading 0.71% copper.

Executive Summary

Getty Copper Inc. (GTC) has released assay results for four additional spring 2026 drill holes at its Getty South property: GS26-03, GS26-04, GS26-05, and GS26-06. The company describes these holes as step-outs located 25 meters north and 25 meters south of the prior GS26-01 intercept, which returned 184 meters at 0.37% Cu.

The headline interval comes from hole GS26-06, which intersected 150.3 meters of 0.71% Cu and 0.7 g/t Ag from a depth of 101.7 meters. This interval includes 103.3 meters of 0.94% Cu, which further contains 46 meters of 1.47% Cu and 1.0 g/t Ag from 159 meters. GS26-06 also returned a richer internal interval of 7.5 meters of 3.72% Cu from 165 meters, along with a deeper 4 meters of 0.53% Cu from 283 meters.

Hole GS26-05 returned 80 meters of 0.84% Cu from 60 meters, including 45.2 meters of 1.28% Cu from 68.8 meters, as well as a separate 8.3 meters of 0.34% Cu from 177.7 meters. GS26-04 intersected multiple zones, including 11 meters of 0.57% Cu from 24 meters, 13 meters of 0.36% Cu from 66 meters, and 62 meters of 0.44% Cu from 120 meters. GS26-03 returned weaker results, with 28 meters of 0.23% Cu from 168 meters.

Getty Copper states that the continuity and widths support a 40-60 meter wide copper body trending north-northwest to south-southeast, which remains open along strike and at depth. The company notes that true width is not fully defined, estimating true widths to be between 30% and 60% of downhole intercepts.

Assays are currently pending for seven additional Getty South holes and three Getty North holes. The fall drilling program, consisting of 4,000 to 6,000 meters across two rigs, has been accelerated to begin in late September, with initial focus on the Getty South area.

Material Impact

Getty Copper Inc. (GTC) is a pre-resource explorer with no current reserves or resources, no revenue, and a going-concern flag noted in its own MD&A, meaning scale and grade-per-metre are priced before confidence. The company’s September 2, 2026 Getty South discovery release initially re-rated the stock from approximately C$0.94 to C$1.09 intraday, but by September 11 the price had round-tripped to C$0.96. This indicates that the prior discovery anchor was only partially embedded in the current price, as the market had already given back most of the initial spike before this release.

The follow-up results are materially better than the anchor, with GS26-06 doubling the prior best grade-thickness and GS26-05 proving stronger than GS26-02. These results support the thesis that Getty South hosts a high-grade, near-surface, porphyry-related copper breccia in a world-class copper district, located close to Teck’s Highland Valley mill. Against a post-consolidation market cap of approximately C$70M, confirmation of a coherent high-grade copper zone is material for the equity.

Company Overview

Getty Copper Inc. (TSXV: GTC, OTCQX: GTCDF) is a Canadian copper exploration and development company. Its primary asset is the 82%-owned Getty Property, located in the Highland Valley copper district of British Columbia, adjacent to Teck’s Highland Valley Copper mine. The company also holds the nearby 100%-owned DOT Property, which was acquired through the Numberco amalgamation.

The Getty North and Getty South areas serve as the company's two principal target zones. Getty South was historically mined underground, most recently in the 1950s, and had not seen significant modern drilling until 2026. Getty Copper completed a 10,807m drill program in the spring of 2026 and is planning an additional 4,000-6,000m in fall 2026.

A 5:1 share consolidation became effective on July 2, 2026. Financial results for the first half of 2026 show no revenue and a net loss of C$9.5M. As of June 30, 2026, the company held C$7.9M in cash and had no debt. The MD&A explicitly flags material uncertainty regarding the company’s ability to continue as a going concern.
