Independence Gold Reports Significant Update to 3Ts Project Mineral Resource Estimate

None

Executive Summary

On November 19, 2025, Independence Gold announced a significant update to the Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) for its flagship 3Ts Project in British Columbia. The update, effective November 12, 2025, is notable for establishing an Indicated resource category for the first time.

The updated MRE includes: - Indicated Resource: 2,794,000 tonnes grading 3.18 g/t gold (Au) and 82.35 g/t silver (Ag), for a total of 378,000 gold equivalent (AuEq) ounces at a grade of 4.22 g/t AuEq. - Inferred Resource: 2,962,000 tonnes grading 3.14 g/t Au and 73.27 g/t Ag, for a total of 387,000 AuEq ounces at a grade of 4.06 g/t AuEq.

This new estimate incorporates results from 78 additional drill holes (14,413 metres) and includes the recently discovered Larry, Johnny, and Ian veins. The MRE was calculated using metal prices of $2,400/oz gold and $30/oz silver, with assumed metallurgical recoveries of 97% for gold and 94% for silver.

Material Impact

This news is materially positive as it represents a significant de-risking milestone for the 3Ts Project. The introduction of a substantial Indicated resource is the most critical achievement, as this higher-confidence category is a prerequisite for advancing toward economic studies like a Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA).

  • Tracking Progress: Throughout 2025, the company focused its drilling on infilling known veins (Ted-Mint, Tommy) and exploring new discoveries (Johnny, Larry, Ian) with the stated goal of incorporating them into an updated MRE. This release confirms they have successfully executed that plan.
  • Comparison to Previous MRE (August 2022):
    • Resource Category: The previous estimate was entirely in the Inferred category. The new MRE successfully converts 378,000 AuEq ounces, or approximately 50% of the total resource, to the Indicated category.
    • Total Ounces: The total contained resource has increased by approximately 13%, from 678,156 AuEq ounces to a combined 765,000 AuEq ounces (Indicated + Inferred).
    • Tonnage and Grade: Total tonnage increased from 4.47 million tonnes to 5.76 million tonnes. However, the average AuEq grade has decreased from a calculated ~4.81 g/t in the previous MRE to a blended average of ~4.14 g/t in the current estimate. While a grade decrease is not ideal, it is a common occurrence when expanding tonnage, and the successful conversion to the Indicated category is a more significant value driver at this stage.

In summary, the company has delivered on a key catalyst promised to the market. The establishment of a higher-confidence resource base moves the project from a pure exploration play closer to a development-stage asset, as stated by the CEO.
