Bayhorse Silver remains in pre-revenue limbo as wildfire delays and permitting hurdles continue to stall development at its silver projects.
Bayhorse Silver Inc. issued an operations update for its Bayhorse Silver Mine in Oregon on September 9, 2026. The company completed six underground diamond drill holes totaling 2,750 feet, with a seventh hole currently underway. Operations experienced delays in July 2026 due to a nearby wildfire and logistical challenges, but drilling has since resumed.
Technical consultant Haley & Aldritch (H&A) is coordinating the Operating Permit application, which includes the resubmission of surface drill pad permits and ongoing groundwater testing. Additionally, a 25-ton bulk sample has been extracted and pre-screened into minus and plus 8 mm fractions for assay to support baseline geochemical studies and permit requirements.
The permitted processing flow utilizes a 40 ton/hour Steinert Ore-Sorter to separate mineralized material from waste, with sorted material shipped to the Payette, Idaho flotation mill. An Acid-Base Assessment (ABA) indicates the rhyolite host rock has high carbonate content (ABA +29), meaning Ore-Sorter rejects are suitable for waste storage without acid rock drainage potential.
Bayhorse Silver Inc. (BHS) released a standard operational update confirming progress on previously announced initiatives. The company disclosed that drilling has resumed following a suspension caused by the July 2026 wildfire, a development first reported in releases dated July 25 and July 28, 2026. Drilling has progressed to six holes.
