Nortec Minerals Corp. Reports 24.2 g/t Au from Waste Rock Pile and 4.59 g/t Au over 0.50 m at the North Trench, and Consolidates 100% Mineral Rights at Barker Bay
Nortec reports high-grade trenching results and completes full title consolidation at its Barker Bay gold project in Ontario.

Nortec Minerals Corp. (NVT) reported grab samples yielding up to 24.2 g/t Au from the historical Barker Bros. Mine waste pile, while channel sampling returned 0.5 m at 4.59 g/t Au in the North Trench. Trenching work exposed shearing and alteration along an 850-meter structural trend.
The company has consolidated 100% mineral rights to the Barker Bros. Mine shaft area following the reversion of a mining patent to surface-rights only. Future work includes mechanical trenching, additional channel sampling, and structural studies to refine drill targeting.
Nortec Minerals Corp. (NVT) reported that the recent results represent an expected, incremental step following the August 2026 commencement of bedrock trenching. High-grade grab and channel samples are typical for early-stage trenching in historical gold camps and do not yet constitute a resource definition.
Title consolidation removes a minor administrative encumbrance, granting full control over the historical shaft area. The news aligns with management's stated exploration sequence and does not alter the fundamental requirement for a maiden drill program to de-risk the project.
Nortec Minerals Corp. is a pre-revenue exploration company focused on gold and base metal projects in Ontario and Nevada. The company’s flagship asset is the Barker Bay Gold Project in Northwestern Ontario, a 4,650-hectare property featuring historical small-scale mining from the Barker Bros. and Petrie mines. While the site has yielded high-grade historical sampling of up to 24.5 g/t Au, it has never been drill tested.
Additional assets include the Pearl Gold Project in Nevada, which contains high-grade historical drilling, and the Sturgeon Lake VMS Project in Ontario, located adjacent to Glencore's historic operations. Management is led by CEO Ryan Hrkac, P.Geo., with a focus on systematic, drill-ready exploration.
