IsoEnergy Completes Summer Drilling at Larocque East, Intersecting Widespread and Strongest Radioactivity to Date Along the Hurricane South Trend

IsoEnergy extends the Hurricane South Trend 600 m with radiometric step-outs, though no uranium assays are yet available.

Executive Summary

IsoEnergy Ltd. (ISO) has completed an expanded summer drill program at its Larocque East project in the Athabasca Basin. The company drilled 10,159 m in 26 holes, exceeding the planned 8,000 m and 20 holes. This brings year-to-date drilling to 16,963 m in 43 holes.

Key radiometric highlights, reported as total-gamma counts-per-second from a handheld RS-125 spectrometer on drill core rather than uranium assays, include:

  • LE26-250: 11,075 cps over 3.5 m, including 43,160 cps over 0.5 m
  • LE26-273: 14,135 cps over 3.0 m, including 36,292 cps over 1.0 m
  • LE26-254: 10,110 cps over 2.0 m, including 35,900 cps over 0.5 m
  • LE26-260: 1,971 cps over 4.5 m, including 6,430 cps over 0.5 m
  • LE26-263: 2,023 cps over 1.0 m
  • LE26-264: 849 cps over 5.0 m, including 2,490 cps over 1.0 m

In total, 18 of 26 holes returned intervals above 350 cps over 0.5 m, while 13 holes returned 1,000 cps or greater. Three holes exceeded 35,000 cps. The release also discloses weaker and barren holes. All summer samples have been submitted to SRC Geoanalytical Laboratories, and uranium geochemistry results are pending.

Material Impact

IsoEnergy Ltd. (ISO) is a pre-revenue uranium developer with an existing high-grade resource and a market capitalization near C$1.0 billion. The Hurricane deposit already hosts a stated 48.6 Mlb U3O8 indicated resource at 34.5% U3O8, making this release about resource expansion potential rather than discovery.

The relevant anchor is the May 12, 2026 assay release: LE26-248 returned 4.21% U3O8 over 3.5 m including 11.61% U3O8 over 1.0 m. The stock rose into that result, peaking near $18.09 in May, but then round-tripped to $13.01 in June before recovering to $15.41 by September 4.

This new release confirms broad radiometric footprint expansion along 600 m and adds several strong cps step-outs. However, it does not provide the assays needed to confirm grade, nor does it change the current resource. The market’s real catalyst is pending geochemistry.
