IsoEnergy Provides Update on Wildfire Activity Near Larocque East Project, Athabasca Basin

IsoEnergy Ltd. (ISO) has temporarily suspended exploration activities at its Larocque East project in northern Saskatchewan due to a nearby wildfire, resulting in the orderly evacuation of most field personnel. The company confirms that all personnel are accounted for with no injuries reported, and three contractors remain on-site to operate protective systems for infrastructure.
A lightning-caused wildfire is currently burning in the vicinity of the Larocque East project, with conditions deemed too dangerous for exploration work by the Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency (SPSA). Most field personnel have been evacuated, while three contractors remain at the camp to operate pumps and sprinkler systems as a precautionary measure. If the wildfire poses a direct threat to the camp, remaining personnel will be evacuated immediately. All personnel have been accounted for, and no injuries have been reported.
Crews implemented precautionary measures to protect the camp, drill core storage, and equipment where safe. The company is coordinating with the SPSA regarding further infrastructure protection measures. Management estimates that the one-week suspension will not impact the completion of the current 8,000-meter drill program, with activities expected to resume once authorities deem it safe.
"The safety of the Company's employees and contractors remains its highest priority."
"Based on current productivity and a typical summer drill season, a one-week evacuation should not impact the Company's ability to complete the current 8,000 metre drill program."
