Copper Fox Reports Progress on Van Dyke's Updated PEA and Establishing Permanent Facility in Miami, Arizona
Copper Fox advances the Van Dyke PEA, secures its Arizona base, and reports incremental progress on the ISCR project.

Copper Fox Metals Inc. (CUU) released a progress update on the revised Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) for its 100% owned Van Dyke in-situ copper recovery (ISCR) project in Arizona. The updated PEA outlines a two-phase underground development plan involving approximately 4,900 meters of development, which will utilize a roadheader for mechanical excavation to enhance safety and ground stability within the Gila Conglomerate.
Phase I, covering years 1 through 6, targets higher-grade portions of the deposit to accelerate capital cost recovery, while Phase II, spanning years 7 through 17, will access lower-grade areas. The leaching strategy prioritizes higher-grade panels early in the project lifecycle, with a five-year leaching period per panel followed by one year of rinsing. Additionally, a preliminary 3D groundwater flow model for the Bloody Tanks Wash drainage basin has been successfully calibrated, supporting hydrological monitoring and permit strategy efforts.
In corporate developments, Copper Fox Metals announced discussions to purchase its current office and core storage facility in Miami, Arizona, for US$290,000, with closing expected in September 2026. CEO Elmer B. Stewart noted that trade-off studies have been completed to optimize pre- and post-tax economic models using updated copper prices.
Copper Fox Metals Inc. (CUU) has released a standard follow-up to the Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) commencement announcements made earlier in 2026, confirming that the company is progressing through the technical and engineering phases of the updated PEA without material delays. The update includes the acquisition of a facility for $290,000, a minor capital expenditure that secures operational infrastructure and eliminates future lease obligations. No new economic metrics, resource estimates, or financing announcements are included in the report.
