Renegade Gold Channels 16.2 g/t Au over 5.0 m, Including 56.1 g/t Au over 1.4 m at BobJo, Confederation Belt, Red Lake, Canada
Renegade’s high-grade surface sampling at BobJo extends mineralization, confirming pre-drill exploration results without disclosing specific grades or widths.

Renegade Gold Inc. has released high-grade surface channel and grab sampling results from its BobJo project in the Red Lake Mining District, Ontario. Channel sample 26BJ-C7 returned 16.2 g/t Au over 5.0 m, including 56.1 g/t Au over 1.4 m. Grab samples taken from quartz veins and shear zones returned up to 65.3 g/t Au.
Mineralization extends over 100 m to the north along an NNW quartz vein system and quartz-carbonate shear veins. Historical mining appears to have targeted lower-grade lenses, with deeper development intersecting the down-dip projection.
QA/QC follows standard AGAT Laboratories protocols with fire assay and gravimetric finish for over-limit samples. Channel lengths are apparent widths; true widths are unknown. Grab samples are selective and not representative of bulk tonnage.
Next steps involve integrating greenfield results with historic datasets and using winter 2025/2026 drone magnetic data to advance targets for a planned 2027 exploration program.
Renegade Gold Inc. (RAGE) released results on October 19, 2026, marking a direct follow-up to its June 2026 mobilization and the maiden surface sampling programs conducted across the Confederation Belt in July and August of that year. The findings are expected to be incremental, serving to validate the high-grade nature of the BobJo system without constituting drill results or resource expansion.
The market has already priced in this exploration activity. While surface sampling is encouraging, it carries low materiality compared to diamond drilling or resource updates. Consequently, there is no change to the Rebel Gold Deposit resource model, which stands at 809,000 ounces, nor to the company’s financial guidance.
The stock has declined approximately 56% from its March 2026 peak, reflecting investor fatigue with pre-revenue exploration and concerns regarding dilution. As such, the impact on the share price is likely to be muted.
Renegade Gold Inc. (TSX.V: RAGE) is a pre-revenue gold exploration company focused on the Red Lake Greenstone Belt in Ontario, Canada. The company’s flagship asset is the Rebel Gold Deposit, which is hosted in the Newman Todd structure, a 60-160 m wide corridor extending over 2 km.
The company reports a total mineral resource of 809,000 oz, comprising 370,000 oz in the Indicated category at 2.07 g/t Au and 439,000 oz in the Inferred category at 2.42 g/t Au. This resource includes both open-pit and underground components. Recent drilling has confirmed mineralization beyond 700 m depth, doubling historic drill depth.
Renegade Gold’s portfolio encompasses approximately 100,150 hectares across multiple projects, including Sidace, which is a joint venture with Evolution Mining, as well as Rowan, Rivard, Gullrock, and the Confederation Belt, which includes the BobJo, Belanger, and Uchi-LP corridor. The company is currently in the exploration and resource definition stage and holds no producing assets or revenue.
