Bunker Hill Intersects Additional High-Grade Silver in the Cate-8 Vein; Individual Drill Samples to 16.3 oz/ton Silver, 41.1% Lead, 7.41% Zinc; Underground Channel Sampling Returns 46 Feet of 8.19% Lead, 2.49 oz/ton Silver, 1.18% Zinc (4.83 oz/ton AgEq) (
Bunker Hill’s Cate-8 continuity improves despite new assays being narrower and lower-grade than July’s anchor.

Bunker Hill Mining Corp. (BNKR) reported additional underground drill results from the Cate-8 zone at its Idaho mine, expanding the discovery to over 1,100 ft along strike and 1,250 ft downdip. Key core-length intercepts included:
- BHD26-17: 12.5 ft @ 2.94 oz/t Ag, 3.2% Pb, 0.20% Zn (3.75 oz/t AgEq); including 7 ft @ 4.75 oz/t Ag, 4.4% Pb (5.82 oz/t AgEq).
- BHP26-24: 9.2 ft @ 1.69 oz/t Ag, 4.36% Pb, 0.28% Zn (2.81 oz/t AgEq); including 3.2 ft @ 4.19 oz/t Ag, 10.62% Pb (6.78 oz/t AgEq); which includes 0.7 ft @ 15.70 oz/t Ag, 33.40% Pb, 1.09% Zn (23.89 oz/t AgEq).
- BHP26-24 separate: 0.7 ft @ 13.80 oz/t Ag, 41.10% Pb, 2.86% Zn (24.43 oz/t AgEq).
- BHP26-21: 8.8 ft @ 1.58 oz/t Ag, 1.69% Pb (3.16 oz/t AgEq); plus 10.8 ft @ 0.99 oz/t Ag, 2.07% Pb (1.49 oz/t AgEq).
- BHP26-22: 12.6 ft @ 1.02 oz/t Ag, 0.88% Pb (2.01 oz/t AgEq).
- BHP26-19: 5.0 ft @ 1.03 oz/t Ag, 5.93% Pb (3.66 oz/t AgEq); plus 3.0 ft @ 3.15 oz/t Ag, 5.93% Pb (4.57 oz/t AgEq).
Holes BHD26-18 and BHD26-20 returned no significant intercepts, while assays for BHD26-23 remain pending. Underground channel sampling from the 9-1 Level crosscut returned 46 ft of continuous mineralization @ 8.19% Pb, 2.49 oz/t Ag, 1.18% Zn (4.83 oz/t AgEq).
The Cate-8 Exploration Target model grew to 522,000 tons @ 5.34 oz/t AgEq for 2.79 moz AgEq at a 50 g/t AgEq cutoff, representing a 55% increase in tonnage and a 34% increase in contained AgEq ounces from the July 15, 2026 estimate. Additionally, Bunker Hill drew an additional US$2M from the Teck standby facility and expects to draw the remaining US$2M standby and US$7M Ocean Partners prepayment facility during September/October 2026.
Bunker Hill Mining Corp. (BNKR) is currently a pre-revenue producer in the ramp-up phase. As the company is not a grassroots explorer, near-mine drilling at the Cate-8 target matters primarily for its potential to extend mine life or add near-term production tonnes.
The July 15 BHE26-16 anchor hole was significantly stronger than any new broad intercept reported in this release. The stock traded around C$4.55 on July 15 and has not re-rated on those results, ranging roughly C$4.31-5.38 into late August. Consequently, the earlier high-grade hole is not clearly embedded as a high expectation bar.
The new results do not represent a positive step-change versus the anchor. The best broad interval is BHD26-17 at roughly 3.75 oz/t AgEq over 12.5 ft core length, which is materially lower grade than BHE26-16's 20.98 oz/t AgEq over 8.1 ft.
The Cate-8 target model did grow by 700,000 oz AgEq at the low cutoff, which is incrementally positive. The channel sample also confirms continuity.
The likely share-price impact is limited. This is confirmatory exploration news with useful disclosure, not a resource estimate or a production decision. A 15%+ move on this release alone is not expected.
Bunker Hill Mining Corp. is advancing the restart of the historic Bunker Hill mine in Idaho's Silver Valley. The operation features a 1,800 tpd processing plant and is targeting commercial production by the end of 2026, alongside a conceptual Bunker 2.0 expansion to 2,500 tpd. Primary metals are silver, lead and zinc, with an objective to return the revenue mix closer to 50% silver and 50% base metals.
Provided investor deck shows current mineral resources of 7.0 Mt M&I @ 1.00 oz/t Ag, 2.40% Pb, 5.44% Zn, and 6.9 Mt Inferred @ 1.52 oz/t Ag, 2.87% Pb, 4.96% Zn.
The company also owns the Ranger-Page project area and has announced an all-share merger with Silver47 Exploration Corp. to create Bunker Hill Silver Corp.
