Bunker Hill Starts Surface Drilling at Its Recently Acquired Page Property Intersecting 15' of Near Surface Continuous Sulfide Mineralisation With First Hole

Bunker Hill’s first page drill hole intersected 15 feet of sulfides as the company faces rising production hurdles.

Executive Summary

Bunker Hill Mining Corp. (BNKR) has launched a 3,200-foot surface drilling program at its recently acquired Page property, with plans to drill 10 holes over a six-week period. The initial drill hole intersected approximately 15 feet of continuous Galena-Siderite and Sphalerite mineralization at a depth of roughly 200 feet. These findings are currently visual estimates only, as laboratory assays remain pending.

Underground operations at the Cate-8 Vein have completed 14,300 feet across 39 shallow holes. Samples from this work are being assayed to support an updated resource statement, which is expected by the end of the fourth quarter of 2026. The company is ramping toward commercial production by the end of 2026, having fully commissioned its paste plant and initiated continuous underground mining at a rate of 1,800 tons per day.

Management has revised the definition of commercial production to require three specific metrics: a throughput of at least 65% of the 1,800 tpd nameplate capacity, a Zn/Pb/Ag recovery rate of at least 70%, and the maintenance of these metrics for 60 consecutive days. Production guidance is expected by the end of the fourth quarter of 2026.

Looking ahead, 2027 mine planning is incorporating Cate-8 resources. Studies are currently underway for a second 6,000-foot portal to address single access and egress constraints, as well as for plant expansion to 2,500 tpd. Additionally, the company acquired 60 acres of land adjacent to the processing facility for a potential dry-stack tailings facility.

Material Impact

Bunker Hill Mining Corp. (BNKR) released an incremental exploration and operational update, noting that initial intercepts from the Page property are promising but preliminary. Based on visual estimates only, these results do not yet constitute a resource definition or a material discovery.

The company also revised its commercial production definition to include a metallurgical recovery hurdle of greater than 70%, alongside throughput targets. This adjustment reflects management’s prudence regarding plant performance and introduces a layer of execution risk to the year-end 2026 commercial production target.

Progress on the paste plant, continuous mining, and safety record—marked by 553 days without a reportable incident—aligns with prior expectations. Additionally, the acquisition of adjacent land for tailings and studies for a second portal and plant expansion are logical steps toward the 2,500 tpd "Bunker 2.0" expansion.

Overall, the release confirms steady operational progress but highlights tightening metallurgical and throughput requirements that could delay or complicate the path to full commercial production.

Company Overview

Bunker Hill Mining Corp. is restarting the historic Bunker Hill Mine in Idaho's Coeur d'Alene mining district, a 100% U.S.-owned asset. The flagship project features a newly built 1,800 tpd processing plant with differential flotation circuits, targeting zinc, lead, and silver concentrate production. The company is pursuing a "Bunker 2.0" expansion to increase capacity to 2,500 tpd, which would extend mine life to 13 years and reduce by-product cash costs.

The company recently acquired the Ranger-Page property and Blackhawk property, consolidating ~1,205 acres of highly prospective land adjacent to the existing mine. A definitive agreement is in place to merge with Silver47 Exploration Corp., creating a combined U.S.-focused silver and critical minerals champion with a pro forma market cap of ~$326M and an aggregate resource inventory of 80 moz AgEq (M&I) and 308 moz AgEq (Inferred).
