Midland and Wallbridge to Test Gold Exploration Targets by Drilling at Casault

Midland Exploration Inc. (MD), in partnership with Wallbridge Mining Company Ltd, is mobilizing crews to the Casault gold property to commence a 3,000-metre diamond drilling campaign consisting of 10-12 holes. The primary objective of this program is to evaluate the eastward extension of the Vortex gold zone, specifically testing for approximately 1,000 metres of additional strike length, and to test the undrilled C2 target. The campaign will also explore other structural intersections along the Sunday Lake Deformation Zone (SLDZ).
The drilling program is structured to address specific geological targets. Five to six holes totaling approximately 1,500-1,750 metres are planned to test the interpreted eastward extension of shear-hosted gold mineralization and evaluate continuity within the main Vortex Zone. Three holes totaling approximately 750-1,000 metres will target the C2 area, located approximately 4km southwest of Vortex at the intersection of the SLDZ and a northwest-trending cross-fault, adjacent to a felsic to intermediate intrusive stock. Additionally, three to four holes totaling approximately 500-750 metres are planned for the Fontina cross-fault intersection and/or Lac du Doigt fault zone IP anomalies.
This exploration builds on historical context from the 2017 Vortex drilling program, which identified significant gold intercepts in syenite-associated mineralization, establishing the geological precedent for the current targets. Mineralization is hosted in steeply dipping sub-parallel shear structures along a transitional contact between gabbroic rocks and mafic volcanic rocks. The zone is approximately 50 metres wide and extends 1,200 metres along strike.
Historical data from the 2017 program highlights the potential of the Vortex zone. Hole CAS-17-095 returned 1.30 g/t Au over 23.5 m, including 3.46 g/t Au over 6.0 m and 23.6 g/t Au over 0.5 m. Hole CAS-17-096 returned 1.38 g/t Au over 26.5 m, including 7.87 g/t Au over 2.2 m and 14.55 g/t Au over 0.8 m.
The Casault property comprises 177 square kilometres along a 20km section of the SLDZ. Wallbridge holds an option to earn up to a 65% interest in the property. True thickness cannot be determined with currently available information; intervals are reported in core length. The technical information in this release has been reviewed and approved by Richard D.
