Austral obtains $1M (U.S.) loan from Argentine bank

AUSTRAL GOLD SECURES ADDITIONAL US$1M LOAN FOR CASPOSO
Casposo Argentina Ltd. Sucursal Argentina, a branch of Austral Gold Ltd.'s subsidiary Casposo Argentina Mining Ltd., has secured a new short-term loan of $1-million (U.S.) from Banco San Juan SA in Argentina, which previously provided it with a $7-million (U.S.) loan facility in December, 2024.
The loan proceeds are to be used to support working capital requirements, following the substantial completion of refurbishment activities at the Casposo processing plant, as announced on July 31, 2025. The project is advancing toward the commissioning phase.
Since the July update, key upgrades completed include the relining and the installation of the semi-autogenous grinding mill, the installation of new hydrocyclone, and the substantial refurbishment of the filter band.
Material terms of the loan agreement:
Loan amount: $1-million (U.S.);
Loan term: 180 days from disbursement;
Interest rate: 8.5 per cent per annum;
Repayment: lump sum payment at maturity, financed by proceeds from mineral exports; early repayment option available;
Use of proceeds: working capital for Casposo;
Security: unsecured.
