Viva Gold to Host Interactive Webinar with Perennial Mine Builder, President & CEO Jim Hesketh

VAU · Price

Viva Gold Corp. (VAU) has announced a live webinar scheduled for August 25, 2026, to provide a corporate update on its Tonopah Gold Project in Nevada. The presentation will cover the progress and timeline of the ongoing Prefeasibility Study (PFS), the status of baseline studies and mine permitting, and a technical deep dive into the newly announced high-grade discovery at Midway Hills. The webinar will feature CEO James Hesketh and include a live Q&A session, with a replay available on the company website.

The event is set for Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at 11 a.m. EDT / 8 a.m. PDT. Registration is available at https://us06web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_3Ak6lTGNRR-iXcMl4bCs5w, and a replay will be posted on www.vivagoldcorp.com following the event.

Agenda items include an update on workstreams feeding the PFS and the expected timeline to the final PFS report. The company will also provide an overview of federal and state permitting processes for the Tonopah Gold Project and expected key milestones. Additionally, the session will feature a technical review of geology, drill results, and exploration upside of the new high-grade zone at Midway Hills.

The Midway Hills discovery references drill results from a July 2026 announcement. Hole TG2617 returned 35.1 metres averaging 1.6 g/t gold and 16.7 g/t silver, including 1.5 metres of 18.4 g/t gold and 76.9 g/t silver. The hole bottomed in strong mineralization and remains open in all directions. Hole TG2616, drilled 100 meters east of TG2617, returned 38.1 metres averaging 0.9 g/t gold and 6.8 g/t silver, including 6.1 meters of 3.6 g/t gold and 22.5 g/t silver.

The Tonopah Gold Project is 100%-owned by Viva Gold and is located in western Nevada on the Walker Lane Structural Trend. The company previously defined a high-confidence gold mineral resource and demonstrated potential for an economically viable open-pit, heap leach/mill project through its 2025 Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA).

"The Tonopah Gold Project continues to advance on multiple fronts, and this webinar is an opportunity to walk the market through exactly where we stand on the prefeasibility study, our EIA submission, and permitting," said James Hesketh, President and CEO of Viva Gold. "The Midway Hills discovery has generated significant interest, and we look forward to taking investors deeper into the technical story behind it and what it could mean for the future of the project."
