Pinnacle Provides First Results from Underground Drilling Program at El Potrero; Samples up to 59.2 g/t Au and 424 g/t Ag with Visible Gold
Pinnacle reports a high-grade Pinos Cuates drill hit, though true width remains unresolved due to poor core recovery.

Pinnacle Silver and Gold Corp. (PINN) has released the first assay results from its 2026 underground delineation drilling program at the El Potrero gold-silver property in Durango, Mexico. Of the 108 holes planned for the program, 58 have been drilled, with assays received for the first 37.
The reported results cover holes EPUG26017 through EPUG26037 from the upper level of the historic Pinos Cuates mine. The first 16 portal holes are excluded from this release until drilling in those areas is complete. The headline intercept comes from hole EPUG26035, which returned 13.18m core length at 9.69 g/t Au and 143 g/t Ag, including 1.07m at 59.2 g/t Au and 424 g/t Ag with fine-grained visible gold.
Other reported intercepts include: * EPUG26026: 1.5m at 9.54 g/t Au and 134 g/t Ag * EPUG26033: 2.10m at 6.93 g/t Au and 94 g/t Ag within 5.62m at 3.16 g/t Au and 52 g/t Ag * EPUG26037: 6.85m at 3.03 g/t Au and 72 g/t Ag
The strike length of the Pinos Cuates upper-level mineralized zone is now estimated to be at least 70 metres, extending roughly 20m northwest and 21m southeast. The company noted poor core recovery locally as low as 20%, possible loss of fine gold to drilling water, and ongoing panel sampling and resampling, which may involve redrills.
Pinnacle Silver and Gold Corp. (PINN) has confirmed the first underground drill intercept for the Pinos Cuates upper-level shoot, extending the known mineralized strike to at least 70 meters. The company has not yet established a formal resource, tonnage estimate, true-width-confirmed intercept for the headline hole, or recovery-adjusted economics.
For a pre-production junior with a market capitalization near CA$16 million, the result represents incremental de-risking rather than a deposit-defining event.
This is not an earnings release, and no new financial results are reported. Prior-period financials show no revenue, operating losses, and limited cash, indicating that exploration success remains the primary source of optionality.
Pinnacle Silver and Gold Corp. (TSXV: PINN) is a junior precious metals company listed on the TSXV. Its flagship El Potrero project in Durango, Mexico, is a past-producing low-sulphidation epithermal Au-Ag vein system featuring three historic mines. Pinnacle’s earn-in structure grants an initial 50% interest upon production, with a path to 100% subject to a 2% NSR. The company also holds the past-producing Argosy Gold Mine and the North Birch project in the Red Lake District of Ontario. Management includes Robert Archer as President and CEO, supported by a board and technical team with experience in Mexican precious metals projects.
